As it getting close towards the airdrop hype is almost over early investors already out from the rally and made huge profit by accumulating at low level. I don't think now it could reach to $1 level by the end of current year there is big sell pressure and with huge supply it would be much hard for it to sustain for long time maybe it will go little down around $.50 in next few days.

The price of XRP to hit $1 this year is hook up with Bitcoin's current price.. I believe if Bitcoin will touch $25k then XRP might have a price of $1 to $2. Everytime bitcoin's price go up, alt coins value goes up too.

I also thought about it. however, currently, it depends on bitcoin price because altcoin season will sometimes appear when the bitcoin price goes up. however, the price of XRP will reach a price of $ 1 when the bitcoin price has actually hit a price above $ 20k. but, looking at the current situation, it looks like this can be achieved in the next year.

yeah i remember that guy and i cant say if he was trolling or not because he backed his prediction with a long statement that looka captivating in the eyes of the readers  but who knows ? if btc was also 1 usd before and btc also climb up to 10k why not ripple too after 10 years ? but for now we shall foccus on the value of 1 usd for xrp and that can be achieved when we are close to the airdrop of flare or spark token . this is the good news for xrp for now and we dont know in the future if there will be another good news that will lead for another ath .

There are only few days away from their airdop and it seems it is struggling at this price level. Whatever price it reaches during that day will be its ath of the year, I don't have high expectation and I know some people are imagining $13 by the end of the year which seems quite impossible. May be it'll reach that level in few years after they have burn their supply like some people are saying.

Nothing is impossible in crypto,,, but we have to admit it does not look like it will happen now. For 100% jump,,, Bitcoin must first make at least 25% jump which is $25000. Of course all is still possible but less than 3 weeks left to 2020.

What a year it is so far already though;)

I highly doubt the XRP price will make a surprise jump and hit the $1 tag sooner than the middle quarter of next year. For BTC, there is a possibility to hit the $25000 price tag before the end of the current year but there is another possibility to hit $15k too. Which scenario happens first will clear the questions about the up or down trend for XRP. The current price is less than $0.6 and there is other alternative projects with higher potential, IMHO.

Tomorrow is the day where snapshot will be created for account holders of XRP coin and in return will be getting spark coin in coming months. But XRP price is also started to fall as bitcoin is also falling so somehow this may take a hit at the price and might not be even near 1$ for sure by year end. let see if it can be above 0.5$ or below by end of this year.

It nearly did, but after it missed out on that chance, I doubt it has a chance like that ever again this year. People should have been worried when everything else increased so much and when XRP didn't, people are talking about how it made x2 and even x3 return this month or so, but they are missing out the fact that all other coins made that type of return as well whereas they didn't had to wait this long.

There is not much difference between eth making x3 this year and xrp making x3 this year just because xrp did it on the last two months of the year, it is still the same return. Hopefully all coins do another x3 next year as well, this type of years make a lot of money for all of us but more importantly it makes crypto world a lot more known and mainstream as well.

I think XRP however attempting to express that, this crypto space is capricious and there is each inclination things won't work out as arranged, consequently holding any coin currently should be for individual reasons and not due to any forecasts. I'm on the same train. I find it 99% doable in the next six months, so I decided to use my Ripples to provide some liquidity and get some interest while waiting for the $1. Btw my expectations are for short-term correction and then to reach the dollar goal. But I don't want to sell in case I'm wrong.

Cut loss is still one of the best strategy if its come to trading.
If you see that you're wrong and you're making losses than profits, don't hesitate to cut loss.
And just convert it to a better coin. I think that's the best thing you could do if you don't see it happening after your expected timeframe.
