Fake giveaway on YouTube is common but what makes me surprised is that usually they (scammers) close their chat column but this time they opened it, their bot comment so active.  they are increasingly trying to convince newbie..

Youtube is literally the worst. Apart from running these obvious scams for hours after being reported, they also allow them to buy AD space to divert traffic to them. It's a shame they don't have any  sort of rapid response for prevention of these low effort scams.

Wow, this is crazy the channel has 2M+ subscribers and seems like a verified YT channel with a legit audience. They're definitely broadcasting that downloaded video of a screen with that scammy background image. I've reported the video and request everyone to do the same. I wonder if their channel was actually hacked to run this stream?

Nice catch OP, looking at the age of the site it just created a few days back. As for the comments, I'm pretty sure that is their socks puppet to make the live stream look such as a legit/true giveaway. Those videos have been reported and the site as well.

As others have said, they are ramping up their activities in social media to scam just because Paypal have join the bandwagon.

And that channel is obviously hack, criminals are targeting youtube channels with a lot of subscribers and then they will stream this so called giveaways.

I am also concerned about the response from Youtube. Facebook still has a response in response to better and faster reports than Youtube..

good report, It seems clear that they (the con artists) are in one team, their crimes are really harming the crypto community..

This things has been going for a long time, two things the owner has weak security and he is not using authentication to log in to his account if this is so the channel owner is irresponsible, and he is  not aware how hackers works, or the hackers now have evolve that they can hack anything even a YouTube channel with authentication, if this is the case, so many Youtubers are in deep trouble.

ha ha, Now it's time for PayPal. The scammers are always waiting for a room to start their scamming tricks. But I am thinking about the youtube channel. what I can see in the above screenshots one is 1.25 million and another one is 2.86 million subscribers. How such a big channel could be audacious? Or those are hacked channel?

I think all the Google related services can be said the same since its not only Youtube where we see the scams but also in their search engine as well as their Playstore all of which are plagued by malware and phishing websites. I don't know why until now Google is not responding with regards to this matter since users are literally complaining on their reviews as well as spamming the report button. At least both Twitter and Facebook is doing something but you can't say the same thing for Google, maybe they are just obsesses with traffic.

Usually yes, I see that in the case of the bigger one it is a legit channel, it has 2.8 subscribers but it also has hundreds of thousands of video views.
The other one is a bit shady, 1.25 million subscribers but only 13 videos in 3 months, and all of them don't have even a tenth of the views? How would those people have subscribed in the first place? Probably bot inflated subs.

What I find interesting is the almost same number of live views, 83k 84,5 k, too much of a coincidence, this is surely also inflated.

Anyhow, the list of channels hacked is way longer, and those things will not end pretty soon, not with people still believing in these crappy giveaways.

Since Paypal is being talked about in the crypto world, scammers have come up with new scam ideas using this hot topic. In the past, if a popular person talked about crypto, scammers would create fake giveaways using that person's name.

YouTube channels with millions of subscribers are hacked by these scammers to manage their fake giveaway. So everyone should stay away from such promotions.

Whenever there is a big topic about cryptocurrency, scammers already have more interesting ideas to continue to steal the victims' money, maybe they get hundreds of dollars in this scam.

In their usual YouTube channel, they buy more subscribers or to make it look real in their actions, some are hacked to control this to make it look even more attractive, therefore everything about giveaway on YouTube is not true.
