The concept of this, essentially an 'AirDrop' is good and I suppose this might have had a lot to do with the XRP's momentum we have seen.

I wonder though if this trend will continue to uptrend and is so how will this be reflected in the price of the Flare tokens 
I suppose, as an XRP holder I shall wait and see but should you not be able to resist the temptation - speculations are welcome too!

Definitely the airdrop and the news of Bank of America joining the RippleNet are a boost, but we got to wait and see if its worth the holding, today's XRP has been stable but with tendency to decrease.

The FOMO is strong with this coin, we have plenty of room to for people who want to join the coin that had doubled its price, its probably it will rise at least to 1$

Ripple is i one of those good streaks just like all other alts... But I don't see a great future for it because is a complex coin. I mean isn't a coin that you can download the core and build your own transactions, is more a coin to use with the tools made for it, but for me, that isn't a decentralized coin.

I hope it hit $1, it would be nice to see it there, but I wouldn't bet on it for the future.

Altcoins will rise eventually following Bitcoin because investors or traders who looking for a short time investment will take a look at the top 10-20 altcoins which have good potential to trade if they thought Bitcoin is already overbought. Since the history of altcoins shows that xrp has achieved the ath at $3,84 in January 2018, so many people expect xrp to reach that price if bitcoin makes it to $ 20k again.

I do not think so. because to reach ATH bitcoin must go up even higher. if it only relies on Ripple's power alone, it can't break ATH yet. so it depends on the bitcoin trend, if the bitcoin bull trend ends, it's hard for ripple to reach the ATH. and look at the moment bitcoin is still stuck at the price of 18k, so ATH will not be reached in these months.

Absolutely right. BTC is passing through its correction phase after hitting 19,000 and came down almost $3000 but fortunately this time the Alts didn't fall so much. XRP is also showing resistance like other Prominent Alts. If BTC stabilizes around its current Price, buying will start coming in Alts soon.

I think the rise of xrp value is because of bitcoin trend. We can see that everytime the value of bitcoin increased, ethereum, xrp and other altcoin also follow. So, if bitcoin will continue to surge high then there is a possibility that XRP will also reach another ATH  before end of this year.

I thought that if the bitcoin will not go down even deeper than the current rate. I remember that some traders were also saying that bitcoin will be using 17k as the new floor to build another momentum to be used to pump the price of bitcoin again. Some holders of ripple are only waiting for the airdrop and i guess when the snapshot has taken and they will sell all of their stash.
The pump for ripple won't be longer than another major coins.

It shows some good rally again, chances that it might try to breakthrough. $1 before this year end might be very possible to hit, the catch though

is after this airdrop, once those investors who only bought in hope that the value of those free tokens is worthy taking the risk of being trapped

This current increase in price of xrp is only because of their airdrop event which is not enough to make it reach a new ath. Also, its movement is currently changed from previous weeks so maybe this is just a hype because of their event and it is not enough to reach a new ath just because of the airdrop event.

Xrp should close over $1 by the end of the year to confirm bulls. As far as new all time high is concerned i do not think it can happen so quickly but surely it will happen but will take quite a few months so we will have to wait for next year.

The Ripple team came up with a good strategy with the upcoming airdrop of Flare tokens next month to Ripple holders, and imo, I think many people have bought XRP in the last couple of weeks cause of this news. Thing is if many of the current buyers actually think of contributing to the Ripple network for the long term, or are only interested in the airdrop and will prolly dump the coin afterwards, if this is the case, then the pump will surely not last long and we may be seeing a dump in a couple of weeks after the airdrop is over, it'll be interesting to study what will happen with XRP in the next month or so.

Ripple price just like bitcoin price in this last few weeks has been on increase even with the recent decrease in price of bitcoin and ripple but despite that ripple has done tremendously well compared to 2019 when the price was constantly on the red side.

The XRP exchange rates are going up just because of speculation. During the last 12 months, I haven't head anything positive about Ripple. I would rather say that during the last one year or so, the adoption and acceptability of XRP has actually gone down. The market cap seems inflated to me. Some of the smaller altcoins have much higher acceptability when compared to XRP.

We need to wait until 12 December to analyse the real market situation once the airdrop participants receives their rewards. But I am sure Ripple will break it's previous record there is no doubt about that but how long will it hold on to the higher value is the question mark as even last time Ripple went crazy with pump but could not sustain longer.

Today there was news that ripple is selling considerable amount of its MoneyGram shares for the first time. This can mean that they are planning something big or new partnerships or possibly restructuring so i think xrp can be hit new highs soon but we cannot judge the exact date or time for that.

a lot of good news coming to xrp, but i believe this coin will not break its ATH in this year, need more time for xrp to reach the ATH my friend

We will have to see after their schedule fork though, XRP is very volatile and we might see holders dumping it as soon as they good their free airdrop token. Specially if the price of XRP is around $1.x or even more during the fork. So I doubt that it will break it's ATH before the end of the year, it's simply on the FOMO stage right now. The real test is after the fork so stay tuned and see how everything will pan out. If it's going to touch or go to a new ATH, its probably next year.
