Has anyone yet managed to spot Disgruntled Monkey^TM in suchmoon's original image? Clue: he's nestled coyly atop the Alien.
This is not another oblique reference to Trump. Let me be clear: I am not suggesting that there is something nestled coyly atop the POTUS's head, be it Alien, Disgruntled Monkey^TM or something that is and hopefully shall forever remain beyond human understanding.

Honestly, why would Aliens plant such a monolit at a random location on earth? I don't think so, there are better ways to make first contact with the human race. In my opinion it was just a prank by some friends who wanted to make the news. Imagine sitting in front of the TV with your friends and then you see the images of the object you put there. And no one knows who it was. Definitely a cool idea.

The term "UFO" (or "UFOB") was coined in 1953 by the United States Air Force (USAF) to serve as a catch-all for all such reports. The phrase "flying saucer" had gained widespread attention after the summer of 1947. On June 24, a civilian pilot named Kenneth Arnold reported seeing nine objects flying in formation near Mount Rainier. Arnold timed the sighting and estimated the speed of discs to be over 1,200 mph (1,931 km/h). At the time, he claimed he described the objects flying in a saucer-like fashion, leading to newspaper accounts of "flying saucers" and "flying discs".[8][9] UFOs were commonly referred to colloquially, as a "Bogey" by military personnel and pilots during the cold war. The term "bogey" was originally used to report anomalies in radar blips, to indicate possible hostile forces that might be roaming in the area.[10]
