IOTA - what do you think about it as an investment?

IOTA was booming during the last bull market in 2017 and went up to an ATH of 4.80$. Currently, it is at <0.40$, which makes it one of the TOP100 coins that is still farthest away from previous ATH (most others that boomed are currently at 1/5th or so).

Do you think this is a good sign to invest in IOTA in case another altcoin season is calling?

What are your sentiments with respect to the utility of the coin? I hear that they have partnerships with big companies like Volkswagen and are working to become a standard in their sector. Let's discuss about this.

You are very right, a very good team stands behind IOTA and the fundamentals of this cryptocurrency are steadily improving. However, the price of IOTA today is still far away from its price predictions for 2020.  Probably the price may recover in the upcoming weeks.

It's already different now compare to the previous alt season, with IOTA's current market cap, I am not expecting again a huge return for this altcoin, but still, who knows, IOTA is a superb project too, but there are some new projects who got the same goal with IOTA.
When in USD value, most the altcoins now is starting to rise. But if you look at BTC pair, for me, it's still no sign if IOTA already bottomed out.

Concerning about ATH is all coin holder now as the Bull seems staying now and may bring another memory in the next days,weeks or months and IOTA is one of the cheapest coin that has been looking forward to make a come back this Bull market.

But seeing another ATH is not that much because there seems no new development and the project is silent,but i don't know if there is something the DEV is cooking but who knows?
Just invest at your own risk mate because we have our own preferences in finding one ,but never forget about BTC and ETH specially this December.

Iota still very good startup to invest. Maybe it was over valued in 2017 but remember 2017 every single coin is over valued. If my prediction is not wrong. 2021 iota will be back to the place it was. I my self like this project and have a small ammount and maybe will add it to my bag soon. The first Internet of thing project in crypto is IOTA

I think this project is a good one and this altcoin season most likely it will hit ATH.

The era for DAG has ended. The price movement of IOTA doesn't seem good at this moment. This coin never gets a pump since the last pump for DAG coin. DAG coin less attractive these days. this coin doesn't have utility usage. It's only focusing to provide a new generation of technology that focused to be used for the payment system purpose with zero fees for any txs.
The partnership is not yet confirmed and I will not bet a lot to this coin. IOTA seems very stagnant

IOTA is a project that is under development and analyzed by the community and has no way of accurately defining the meaning of this development. We can say that it is a project that has a market of $800 million to buy and sell, maybe the greatest impediment to great prices is the amount of supply that can be solved through investments by large institutions. IOTA previous valuation was based on its promises and has failed to show it can deliver on that, anyone that wish to invest into IOTA now need to look into it critically because for me I don't see anything that makes me thing IOTA can be in the top 50 on CMC again unless there are able to show that their tech indeed work the way  it was sold to us initially

Ah I remember IOTA and all the DAG cryptos. I actually had one myself;) I always thought it was brilliant idea to do mesh and such but they never really took off did they?

Well the technology has been around for a while,,, and DAG type crypto is not new, I even took part in Byteball early on and they were the first IMO to show how useful the tech could be,,, but they all still do not have the desired utility levels. Not to mention NANO and others that all were practically free to mine. Tangle is good,,, but needs a lot more time to mature and catch on.

I think many top altcoins are yet to reach their ATH but that shouldn't be the basis of investing in IOTA if I must say because it might not reach ATH anytime soon, but since they are believed to have partnership with big companies that then is the right basis to Invest because from all indications it is a coin with good utility and therefore one day, the attention it needs will come around and the growth everyone is expecting will happen. There are many coins without any utility and where are they today after their huge pump?, but IOTA is still very much around and progressing although not very much as anticipated but even at that, it's use case makes it to stand out and it will grow one day because of more adoption.

Honestly, at this stage of the market most projects are waiting to increase prices. As for IOTA i also have plans to keep it from before, and now i'm quite satisfied with that decision. Perhaps curiosity about Tangle brought me to IOTA, i think everything is still just the beginning of this bull run.
