Good catch OP. Lots of fake websites and fake apps are seen in different places. Their main goal is to scam people, but they often do not succeed in their mission because some people like you who want to secure the crypto world expose these scammers. When they become exopse, they start looking for new ways to scam people.

Nice catch OP, it obviously scam website that pretending to become the real metamask extension service. It would save many newbies from falling to the trap by exposing it.
