Will social mining replace bounties?

In this topic I would know if people believe in social mining as instrument of spreading the word about contemporary crypto projects or bounties are still actual?

Company called DaoMaker already arranged some social mining campaigns and successfully finished them. Such projects as Elrond, Avalanche, Orion and some others were on the platform and many people got opportunity to earn a lot for useful work. I earned about 3k$ on Elrond Social Mining without any really professional skills.

What do you think about it and can DAO Maker invention replace bounty campaigns in the future?

Hmm that was interesting, I'm Checking it and Joined after you make this thread (Thanks for information). My First Impression, The UI was really good and looks like it's same with some campaign platform out there (Bounty0x, BountyHub) With Point System, there also Reputation Point which i still don't really know the purpose for the community and for the project it was supposed to give the project the best participants on the platform I suppose? Also didn't know about how the point will be converted to the Native Token of the project.

So far it's really good and looks like i will try to make an submission on my first take on DAO Maker (Injective), For now i think MAO Daker will become an alternative and not an replacement. Really thanks for this information mate, Cheers!

I can't say that I'm familiar with the concept of social mining, but as far as I know, there have been bounty campaigns on this forum since the very beginning. Companies and projects will always enjoy the benefits of this form of promotion.

Social mining is effective at some ways for advertising and marketing but I can't say it will totally replace bounties. Companies/projects I'm sure have their own strategies to create successful outcome.

That's very interesting if you have earned that amount through Elrond. It's a big amount to say that it came from social mining. There were projects that have the same algo and became effective for those contributors. But to say that it will replace bounties, I don't think that it will unless the whole bounty community will have a transition and will rely on any project that offers social mining. Instead of thinking of replacement, they can co-exist.

Definitely worthy platform and it may increase in popularity next year but bounty campaigns are a lot more then just social media marketing as they involve articles, videos, translations, signatures and other customised tasks and campaigns as well so i do not think that bounties are going anywhere.

Still a lot of scam projects whom their intention is just to seal money from investors who will buy the fake token during fundrise. This platform called DaoMaker sounds really cool by listing tasksfor trusted projects and the paiement is clear.

One last thing, i checked some of those social mining platforms, some of them require KYC in order to get paid but this is not necessary to join and start mining.

Social mining that you are talking about is a limited service with country restrictions and mostly small budget i am not sure how you can even compare them with comprehensive bounty campaigns? Both are different my friend.

Not that familiar with social mining, I only know much about bounty and airdrop, so I can't really predict what the future could hold for both.

I don't know exactly about social mining, but I'm sure this kind of system can't replace bounty. For using this system of course must pay certain costs, and I think not all project will do it. So bounty is the solution, the team just hire bounty hunter for free promotion(paid from their own token)

Is social mining can be promoted here? If not then it can't replace bounties in my opinion. This community is the biggest and most recognised platforms are far as crypto currency goes, so many project are still going to utilised this community to spread the word about their project through bounty campaigns. So I don't see social mining making bounties obsolete in the feature. Bounties will continue to thrive here no matter negativity it has gotten till now.

Avalanche was also successful Yeah, good partnerships are necessary, but it`s the idea, only good and prospective projects launch own social mining, so participants can be sure they will get worthy reward

You`re right, there are some restrictions and rules there, but nothing can be perfect.
Difference of the budgets is a very big dellusion, Elrond had 6 rounds and pool of every round was about 7-10M Erd, it`s equal to about 80.000 eGLD what is about 800.000$ right now and about 2 millions in the July, when price was so high. The same situation is with AVAX. Everyone could easily earn 200+ AVAX tokens, it`s about 1k$ for now and I know a lot of people who got all these tokens. And don`t understand, in that moment Elrond was already listed on Binance exchnage and some others, AVAX team was preparing for doing the same. So these budgets are big and what`s the most important thing, they are real and have liquidity.

Maybe I earned this amount only because of luck and big hype before Elrond mainnet, which boosted price a lot, but the other example, Avalanche. Everyone could earn there 200+ AVAX tokens as I mentioned in previous answer

It's hard to say. Social Mining only pertains to platforms outside Bitcointalk I think and according to this

They will ask for KYC. I can say that bounty campaigns strategy is very different from DaoMaker and will most likely not replace Bounty Campaign anytime soon (or never will unless they do something that is very similar to bounty campaign but is more convenient). Nevertheless, you can work on both and benefit from both of them at the same time.

I think both ways are geared towards project diffusion, but honestly I think for DAO MAKER they carefully select projects and if they are not the ones who invest and look for new projects. it will be hard to see it and I think it is not as strong as bounty, because here bounty attracts a lot of participants and it is easier to spread.

Social media advertising is one of the most effective forms of advertising these days and is embracing almost all businesses big or small new projects cannot achieve development due to lack of publicity but social excavations help with propaganda.
