Crazy how all the fake UniSwap apps are popping up these days. Anyway, that executable wouldn't do any harm to your machine I reckon since you're on a Mac which doesn't support the executables. Another reason why Apple beats Android or Windows when it comes to security. A number of fake UniSwap apps have taken over PlayStore as well.

Last week we have seen another one but that was in playstore where this guys are running through their own website. Its pretty much clear that a specific group is working tirelessly to make investors fool by creating fake Uniswap websites. Real Uniswap is holding the only domain and that is running with (.org) but scammers are taking all related similar looking domains.

During the popularity of DeFi projects this thieves are getting too much active and this fake Uniswap app is the clear example of that. Its not the last and we will see lot more like this in upcoming days.

If i am wrong then after seeing lots of Elon musks related scam projects crypto universe will see lot more Uniswap related scam projects this time.

Right, these group of people are not going to stop to create and make fake Uniswap app in Google store and websites to trap noobs, which they actually did last week netting $20k for them.

They are not someone else who are continuing their money stealing game by launching DeFi and Uniswap related fake websites. I can give you a simple example for that, If you join a Defi project's telegram group then within next 1 week you will discover that you have been added on multiple DeFi projects telegram group. Even most of these scammers use multiple telegram accounts to add massive number of telegram users on their group.

Interesting thing is that in most of this group have similar kinda pinned post and style of giving regular updates is almost same. Actually they will add you in most of their scam projects telegram group which increase their chances of stealing money from you.

Some common things that you will start to experience after joining a Defi project's telegram community;

• You will start to receive PM from strangers with unrealistic profit plans.
• Your account will be added on multiple unknown telegram groups.
• Suddenly telegram group name will be changed and it will turn into another new project. (New logo, New Pinned post)

Uniswap is now a scam material for scamers I see every week there are people catching this scam with lots of reports on this accusation board so we all know that DeFi has now been misused a lot by someone to get one-sided advantage so I don't think it will be. tired will definitely appear again with a new name and even told to download the file that has been infiltrated by a walware virus.
I am not surprised if there are victims like yesterday who lost $ 20k from Uniswap DEX when clearly it is not the real one.

What the hell, this is almost a true replica of uniswap. Thanks for sharing this, the app are almost 100% identical in terms of UI design. I do hope people don't fall on this site. Even with extra careful, sometime people missed it due to the design they used to trade on uniswap. If ever they suddenly used this there is a chance of not noticing its fake due to the similarities of the app.

In fact, we have to pay more attention to the url of their design domain, they are similar because the UI can be made, but the most important url is to increase extra vigilance is to prevent many phishing scammers who continue to spread and expect people to enter phrases on their site, so that's why I more people will be aware especially in this matter.

It could be, and I only speculate that this UI is for sale in the underground market that's why criminals have been taking advantage of it. They just have to buy domain with some "uniswap" in it, or just used blogspot platform (which has slowly been taken advantage by scammers as well because it is free).

And then release it to the public go on social media to promote this phishing site and just wait and sit to see if some crypto noobs will fall for it, win-win situation for those criminals.
