I lost the seed which contains the 12 words, but I remember the password that I added as an extension

will it be possible to recover the wallet?

If you have neither the 12 word phrase nor the wallet file, no; you can't recover your coins.

If you don't have the 12 word phrase but have the wallet file and a slight idea of the password used, there may be some slim chances of recovering them

This must be the thread you're talking about: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1retxr/psa_using_electrum_with_a_12_word_seed_is_so_much/. It was created 7 years ago in 2013. The latest version when that thread was created was Electrum 1.9. But I doubt you last used this version. Please tell us which version of electrum you last remember using, so we get a better idea of when this happened.
