That's true. but I think he sold all the XMR for BTC.

Also, I checked their October 2020 report, and no they don't have 72k bitcoin.
The article you link states:
"Publicly-traded Canadian fund Cypherpunk just announced the acquisition of an additional
72.979 Bitcoins. With this deal, the entity has purchased a total of
276,479 Bitcoins."
The first number was rightfully using a decimal, whereas the second number should've been 276.479.
Why? Because their October 2020 states that they have only 203 Bitcoin. So after they purchased 72.979, that puts them at 275.979 bitcoin. Just 1 BTC off the 276.479 number.
