The funny thing is over 80% or more cryptocians make use of Etherum, I mean eth is so irresistible man because all the big projects you can ever think of are riding on the eth blockchain, project like #OpenDeFi, #Cartesi and a whole lot of them I can't mention all, but do you know the funny thing is despite the high gas fee that everyone is complaining about we still love eth😂 man that's the height of it. I burn $60+ on fee every 4 days lol man eth is something else.

The reason of high gas fee is because too many people flooding the entire ethereum blockchain too which means too much people wants to use ETH for many purposes. Most of the popular projects also within the blockchain and having so many stablecoins residing in the platform means stronger foundation as these stabelcoins keep printing money like crazy, for example USDT you see how much bigger their market cap has grown despite it supposedly backed by money reserved by the company. Can't imagine other alts overthrow eth except they could took all those projects altogether to their platform.

I don't see why anyone should worry about people wishing ethereum dead or overthrown. Whether that will happen depends on the team behind ethereum development. And the current migration to ethereum 2 is to make ethereum a better cryptocurrency than it used to be.

So, if they slack in their own development and allow those mentioned upcoming crypto overthrow them, it's on nobody but the team.

There have been many projects created to beat Ethereum but Ethereum is too tough to beat. Ethereum's large support community is
the main reason why Ethereum is still become the best altcoins. And many new projects prefer to use the Ethereum network over other
smart contracts. Therefore, I never hesitate to invest in Ethereum, because Ethereum's performance is indeed quite good this year.

I think ETH is exceptionally solid can in any case endure its position, simply take a gander at ETH costs have as of late expanded well indeed. Ethereum will arrive at new and new statures later on essentially on the grounds that the dev group behind it works constantly.

One man's trash... another man's treasure. Ethereum is one of the coins that I believe in, and will continue to strive as the community that serves it grows.

There is no need to sell this scarcity mindset to other investors, as there is enough room for many coins to flourish. Imagine where we will be with the internet in 10-20 years time and the answer becomes clear
There is no need to imagine things that are too far away for another 10-20 years, but it is enough to see the opportunities at the moment and always see the best in the present, because the good ones will always last forever in crypto.

It's not a crime to wish for a project to die so that another can take over, it's very common among new crypto investors today, they failed to buy bitcoin @4$ in 2012, they failed to get Ethereum when it was so very cheap and now it's too late, they have no other choice but to find another Ethereum wannabes,  Cheesy when ever I see such I can't just stop laughing anyways

More support for ethereum will be coming when the complete roll over of ethereum 2.0 happen, since ethereum has huge community support its less likely to reach the status zero. People find own reasons to bring one coin other down but still the number of shillers no where near the actual userbase so it won't take any effect.

Pitty  for those  who  have this mentality as opportunities  knock  their  doors but they've  never  welcome it, and now after missing  such  kind of chances  they  show bad impressions  to the point  of cursing  it out.

Very funny  but its indeed  happening,  ETH is not the only one but almost all  the alts who gained a lots of attentions  and brings huge benefits also  suffer the same  thing  from non believers.

Not new to  this venue  of investment
There are people  who'll  continue  to have
Same point  of views and opinions  about projects
That they  don't believe. They'll  only listened to
How they  interpret  the market themselves.

Even before, there were haters for Ethereum. Even bitcoin, it got a lot of hate first.

That's why every crypto has its own hater. Because they think that there's something better and that is the coin that they've bought, they keep comparing that it's the best project of all and it can beat whichever is at the high ranking of market cap.

Each crypto will have its negativity like that. But if the community really hates it and the majority agrees and shares the same thought about a project, you need to think of it why everyone is hating it.

Lately I've seen too many posts in this section talking about an Ethereum killer ( Avalanche, Polkadot, Chainlink etc)and I will like to drop some points about this.

There is one thing I like about the whole crypto idea, the power have been given to the public, people are the ones to still decide where to invest their money, the most popular smart contract project is Ethereum and it's the founding father of smart contract too, if another project is going to kill Ethereum all developers that like using ERC20 smart contract will stop supporting Ethereum and even almost all eth lovers will stop buying ETH and move their funds into the new project, well to me it's never going to happen.

Ethereum supporters are over millions in numbers and people who wants Ethereum to get killed are just few in numbers, NEO,Stellar, EOS are old smart contract projects too but never wished Ethereum dead, they co-exists with Ethereum instead, till this day they can't beat Ethereum, the power of Ethereum is from the community and people's support, Long Life to Ethereum
Yeah I have been suggesting the same in my circle of crypto enthusiasts who just say that ethereum is now going to be replaced and bla bla every few months and they see a new project superior to ethereum but i have always said that realistically it is not possible because eth has deep roots and dynamics in the market which cannot be subsided by any new project.

I read today, ETH will be 25k to the end of 2021.

Im not really fan on replying on these kind of presumptions but saying $25k for this year? It cant even reach out into its previous ATH of 1k then how much more in 25k?

We should always consider on making out some good and realistic presumptions rather than go into those numbers which cant really be possible because it would just
really frustrate you instead.

You cant blame out people not to say about ETH on being dead and so as with other projects as well.We do have our own inputs and views.

Xrp has nothing like hate, it's just a project who lack bearing. It's doesn't have magnitude nor direction. It's either today its having internal issues, team drama or regulation problems.
BCH on the other hand is another failure that has been trying to get itself on the right track but seems backdown by hands of developers, we have forks already that hasn't add meaning contribution to price.
Ethereum is just project trying to survive and accommodate other small scale projects that can't stand alone, I don't think this atmosphere will be friendly if not for their framework and smart contract ERC-20 tokens. Eth will become scalable when the right time comes and i hope I have enough money to buy huge bag then.

If the dozens of teams and individuals work hard for ETH2.0, the rest of the speculative predictions will lose their meaning one day. There is no single proof and strong argument why this or that altcoins should replace Ethereum. If there is a logical explanation for convincing me, I will sell my ETH and will join your side. Of course, nothing more than false logic and a bunch of speculative ideas.

Why is that so? In this bullish trend for btc one wrong decision making is to bet on ethereum where in fact we know what coin nowadays are obviously on a bullish trend. Why not pick BTC instead of ethereum? I know ethereum is one of a good altcoins for btc but think obviously that it is i btc that will going to do good in the market and will going to record the new ATH so why bother to get more altcoins. I do hope you get my point which is for now go for btc and not for altcoins. Maybe after the ATH for btc will be determine then that is the best time to buy for ETH.

I own some ETH but I've been preaching the same thing as you, that there's no point in holding underperforming altcoins instead of bitcoin.

Ethereum has been doing well this year and it's not a bad altcoin but this last couple of weeks it was weak compared to Bitcoin. Bitcoin was able to pump 10% and at the same time ETH moved 3% up, but when bitcoin corrected 5% down ETH lost its whole 3% gain. This shows that it follows bitcoin in its down trends more than in up trends and that's weakness. Not a weakness of ETH in particular but of the whole altcoin market.

Ethereum has first mover advantage. That's a very powerful advantage, it's the main reason why BTC is still #1 despite its problems. Any ETH competitor needs to overcome 4 years of name recognition and adoption to "beat" ETH.

I doubt that people who want XRP to die are people who missed buying opportunity. I have bitcoin, I have ethereum, I have made very decent return this year, I could say that I am one step closer to retirement as well, I still have to work maybe 10 years to reach to levels I want but I am getting there and this makes me happy.

In a pandemic year where everyone lost money, everyone lost jobs, people are starving, and nations are falling, central banks printing money and giving it to people in order to help them literally not die, I have doubled my savings account (which is in crypto). After said that all, I could say I still want XRP to die, not because I didn't made a profit, not because I want something else I invested to take its place, I want it to die because there are two partners who control all of XRP and that is not fine by my book and I would prefer decentralized coins to take its place.
