Hi,

A while ago I have started complimenting my Daily trading with running a Grid based bot on various Altcoin pairs.

Most of all I trade KCS this way, because it has the added advantages of also paying additional Dividend, and reducing fees, which makes the high number of trades that the bot executes all the more profitable.

Grid based bots are probably one of the easiest and safest ways of running a Bot.

Among members in the Crypto Knowledge Pool community ( a three year old, free Telegram community) it has quickly become one of the most popular methods of trading.

I have written my conclusions down in two different articles:

Do you have any experience with trading Altcoins using a Grid? What are your thoughts?

I have never tried using Grid before but most of the bots on telegram communities are not profitable after trading for more than 2 months. This means that the bots will soon become outdated and unable to update good market data, so they constantly trade errors. I used to join 2000 $ in trading pool traded by TCVN bot and now I have lost more than 500 $. So, do not trust the trading bots in community channels too much, use your knowledge to trade better.

I guess you got a point that certain bots could loose their edge if it's overused, but not really relevant in case of trading with a simple Grid.
It just needs liquidity and does not depend on PA.

If anything, more people running a grid just fills up orderbooks and provides liquidity.

Again, a grid bot has no strategy. It's exactly that: a grid of buy and sell orders.
