I don't think it is allowed to share your referral links in your posts. The unofficial rules say: 4. No referral code (ref link) spam. [1]
So you probably better remove that ref link from your post.

This is Interesting! I just doubt one part of such puzzles that is - What if the winner chosen is one of their own employees or friends participating? There is no transparency at all and if they already know who is going to be the winner then it doesn't make sense for others to waste their time brainstorming.

I think that it is much more profitable for them to have the puzzle as long as possible. This is public attention, promotion, advertising ... This is a way to promote.

Yes, but they will get the promotion anyway since people will be trying to get that 0.50 BTC. The puzzle will run for say 1 month and they would have thousands of groups solving the puzzle and when they decide the winner, they could just give it to one of their friends and no one would know. Their goal is achieved, promotion is done, money saved.

The essence of the puzzle is that you (for example) will find all the encrypted parts of the private key and personally take the prize to your wallet. Look carefully at all conditions. Or have I misunderstood something?

Yes, you definitely have. -> Who holds the private key? Some right? And that someone is the organizer of the puzzle? What is the guarantee the organizers didn't share the private key with their friends or will share the private keys with their friends to declare them as a winner? The entire point of the contest is the promotion which they will get anyway since everybody will keep on trying expecting themselves to be a winner. In the end, the organizer will declare one of their own as a winner and the while thing could be planned.

I am also very curious to what extent we can be sure that the winner will receive the 0.5 bitcoin? You don't just organize something like that, there must be something behind it. After all, we're talking about $ 8,000. That's a lot of money for a puzzle. I guess Einstein wouldn't even get out of this.

The puzzle was published on May 18, 2020, and if the organizers would like to share the private key to their friends, they would have done it long ago, but it seems like everything is fair, a difficult task for good money, the winner takes the prize. I think so.
