I've been running U1's on the DLink 7port Hub... I was wondering for the new U2's, what hub would be great to accommodate the thicker heat sink, and still get enough usable ports for the cost of the hub?

***Running BFGminer on RaspberryPi (Raspbian Wheezy)...

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I'm using this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182208

obviously with the large heatsink you will only be able to stick 5 in here BUT with the large heatsink a fan is not needed

This post sums up why all this bullshit is a scam

I was actually wondering if I should use this! Thanks for the tip! Currently, I have 4 DLink7porthubs connected to exactly a hub like this...

So now my setup is 4-Dlink hubs > 10port Rosewill > Raspberry Pi

Do you think I can add 2 more Rosewill hubs to connect to my current Rosewill?
4-Dlink hubs+2-10port Rosewill > 10port Rosewill > Raspberry Pi

So I might get 10pcs of the U2s...

In another thread regarding Pi Mining... it's been discovered that a Pi has the ability to talk to around 120 USB devices ( count each miner as devices, not routers unless they show AS devices ) and not the supposed max of USB 254 devices ( with first as device 0 and count to 254 making 255 ).

It's still unclear if it's a device issue or lack of ram, or what that makes it close to half the total USB, just keep each one as powered hubs and there should be no worries.

Other posts to look at in regards to this....

max hubs....

lol yeah sure, add 1k cost to something that most likely wont get ROI to begin with. Bad idea.
