I've been studying phishing attacks on bitcoin exchanges for a long time. and these guys are so determined they never intend to give up. I will constantly expose phishing attacks under this topic. and we will identify the domain name company and hosting companies and try to block them.

Because they use cloaker systems, I often find it difficult to find the paths for these attacks to phishing page.

If friends from various countries help us and share the passageways of the attacks we have reported here, we can tackle this task together.

Let's keep this topic alive all the time. I am a volunteer and I can devote a few hours every day to this job.

then let's get started. The first detection now focuses on electrum.org, the attackers.

We are interested in attacks on search engines with advertisements. These cause the greatest damage.

The picture of the first attack is as follows.

-----------------------------------

1st detection electrum.org is receiving attack.

google search keywords : electrum

phishing domain :

29.11.2020
Code:
http://electrlcem.or
https://www.elektrim.pl
http://electruem.org

What you need to do is to identify these urls on google and disclose the links that direct you to the phishing page. I will contact the domain name company and hosting company and send a notification to stop their services.

Picture of the 1st attack.

Hey Friend, this seems like a worthy endeavour. Hunting the scammers is always a good thing, you'll be helping people avoid becoming victims simply by identifying and announcing suspicious activity.

Two suggestions for you;

(1) Have some review process and criteria to ensure that the internet scam attempt is genuine; You want your thread to have credibility, you want to be the authority on these scam attempts.

(2) You should move this to the Scam Accusations sub-board; that's where this talk belongs. There are other phishing threads in that board but none (that i found after a quick search) which serve as the single location for accusations and discussion. You'd be consolidating a lot of parallel talks, and that's a good thing.

Cheers to a good hunt, keep fighting for the people!

You can either posts your find in the following board:

1. Scam Accusations - but you have to remember that there are formats to be followed when exposing scams/phishing links.

2. Beginners & Help - another good board to show your findings of scams and phishing sites to remind newbies.

I would also suggest that you edit your post, and enclosed your findings of Electrum phishing links in the 'BBCode tag "code" so that members here won't accidentally click on that link.

Sample:

for individual

Code:
http://electrlcem.org
Code:
http://electroneum.com
Code:
 https://www.elektrim.pl
Code:
http://electruem.org

or if you want to group them

Code:
http://electrlcem.org
http://electroneum.com
https://www.elektrim.pl
http://electruem.org

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.

The domains you mentioned are not phishing websites, they might have almost the same domain name, spelling and pronunciation but they are not phishing sites.

If you still don't know electroneum is another known coin https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/electroneum

I suggest you to review the site's looks first before you go to the site's registrar to report about the phishing sites.

About the ads, yes seems all of them are misleading, we don't know who made the ads on google but seems those descriptions are misleading and only use the domains so instead of reporting to its host, report it to google ads so it will be taken down.

Hey, buddy. Electroneum(ETN) was one of the coins which took attention in 2017-18. You can't detect it as a Phishing Domain. It's already listed in Coingecko.

electrlcem.org , www.elektrim.pl , https://electruem.org/ isn't looking like a Phishing attempt. Maybe you have a lack of knowledge here. They are not disguising Electrum.

I have to agree with you here. ETN is really a blockchain project and not a phishing website. I have known this project also.  And it is currently rank 152 in coingecko (https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/electroneum). I don't think ETN team will be happy if they learn that you considered this as phishing website. Other sites listed, I have no idea.
