Hard to go above 2 BTC when 1.8 BTC will buy 400 GH of Antminers that use 800W. Your unit uses 2100W yet is only 20% faster. If you put in a mining calculator two antminers after 90 days after power you make $1022 If you put in the BFL 500 after 90 days you get $1044. Power cost is taking almost all of the extra speed advantage. At the 90 day point the ANTminers are more profitable due to the lower power usage. This is at 10 cents a KWh. If your in NYC or CA, forget about it. If you are in a lower power place you might do OK with the BFL 500. |

$3000 for 500 gh/s? You could set up a 400 gh/s S1 pair for $1000. Or 600 for $1500. Being pretty isn't worth that much... good luck. |

As I have illustrated it is not worth that. It might make 3btc back in lifetime if power was free. 2100w is a lot of power. Protip: eBay. It is not worth $2000 but someone on eBay may pay that for it anyhow. Remember 10% or so fees. |
