and with that destroy parts of the society.

the big problem in this is, is that the destruction is supported by greedy short term thinking local forces, like private businesses, religious networks, and leftist opposition,

we can observe that today in europe, where europeans are struggeling to protect their taxes and welfare pots against, migrants, terrorists and sellout leftists.

There are caliphates in Islamic history and its welfare system. They serve Caliphs, not God.

True, bad people often use religion as their excuse to do bad things, plus an expansive religion like Islam makes it easy to cherry-pick a verse that suitable for it.
This verse has two translations "worship none but God" and "serve no one but God." Both have different meanings and cherry-picking is something that terrorists are good at.

Christianity already had its reformation, and I expect Islam will do the same if they want to be relevant in this modern era.
