It's not a loss and you're right with that unless you start to panic and sell it wholly. You are in good hands buying Ethereum at that price and as you see, it's just recovering. Without the 2.0 yet, you see that it's recovering. It doesn't look bad if you have bought at that price.
Everyone is making that decision although can be said a late decision somehow but not literally means you can't steer back that decision. You're an Ethereum believer and your purchase make sense for yourself for 2.0.

I see you as a concrete example of the process of users being attracted and fomo by news, i see that you have started holding ETH since 580, i know about that news for a long time and until there are many i think it is no longer helping to push the price of ETH higher, but the current trend is up, following market corrections over the past few days. At the beginning, it is a sign that the market will start to recover and continue its uptrend. I think you are being influenced by the market and your sentiment fluctuates, but don't overdo it because investing is never easy, i believe that if you can wait then i suggest you hold it for long periods of time instead of chasing after the fomo crowd following the market.

You do that, most of the market entry interest relies on FOMO and FUD, big coins are no exception, but you need to be patient to turn things around while the support is still possible

ETH is going to be worth more than 500 USD!

Patience, maybe by the end of the year it will be worth up to 800 USD.

A long term investment in crypto. Back in 2017 after the huge dumping everyone keeps saying that crypto is just a pump and dump and form of bad investment due to the volatility but if you see it in the longterm crypto always going up although there's some bearish market in the process. Just pick BTC and ETH as example from few cents to hundreds or thousand of dollars.

Calm down because what you just did is really too short for me to judge your first investment wrong, but watch again you bought ETH. I always choose ETH as one of the things that i will keep next time, i think a loss of about 10% 20% on investing is normal and importantly, are you comfortable with it, i have another advice for you 'please hold it when has x10'  and this is serious.

I remember when i bouthg CHSB at 0.01 and then a few weeks after that and the price of CHSB has been going to the 15 cents and i have been making 15x ROI from there.
The same thing is also happening with unibright too. There are so many stories about that when im thinking i will buy that and that will go even deeper but the opposite thing happened.

You are fluctuating with the change from the market, this is the problem that you need to overcome that is the fact that you need to control your own psychology. I see a lot of people like you in this space, but don't worry too much about that money because it's an investment that i think is still very potential in the market. ETH 2.0 is coming soon, which is partly helping to increase ETH.

There's still a chance that it may go back to your target price.  Accdg to coingecko ethereum price as of today is $575. Near to your target or you can now accumulate some of it. This volatile market will always gives you a chance to wait and do your purpose.

Come on price is already back almost at your buying price so do not lose hope and eth is super bullish from here onwards and in coming months how previous all time high will become history and look small im so bullsih about eth and the strength it is showing due to launch if a newer and efficient network.
