It is not bad investment but what you did is a bad strategy because you do not have a right plan when you enter in the market. What you did is FOMO because you bought at the peak without knowing that there is a high chance that the price of the Ethereum may resists in its current resistance. That is why planning is really important and a certain investor or trader should have plan first before entering in a specific trade.

A good plan should consist of good entry point where you should indicate the reason why you will buy, you should have also stop loss wherein you have a strategy in order to protect your capital and also the allocation that you will put buying an altcoin.

You didn't buy Ethereum at the right time when the coin price was trading at $100-150. So you had to buy it on high. But you don't have any loss from such a purchase until you sell the coin below the price at which you bought it. Even today, the price of ETH exceeds the price at which you purchased it, but everything can change in an instant if bitcoin goes for a correction.

ETH already passed $600 once and now after falling back down to below $500 it has recovered halfway of the journey back to 2020 ATH.

I do feel in two worlds about ETH. I bought it a bit late around $400 so I am in profit now and I am confident it will go back to $1000 at some point, but I was actually a converted buyer. Avoided it all the way until 2018/19 when I finally saw that ETH was not as bad as it used to be.

Definitely for me, seemed like a bad investment at the time. But you have to hand it to them. They have done a lot for themselves now and have proven their utility.

I joined this forum 2017 and I was glad I did though the latter part of the year got me thinking but here we are 2020 and with the recent green light I was overwhelmed looked at the space of two years but I can tell you it worth the wait.

no problem its just correction before the price go up again, not only eth also btc and other alt coin has decrease in last 3 days.
but today its seem look bounce back and eth already reach 600$ again, btc its going 19000$ and try to reach new ATH, once its reached.

Although the price of ETH is back and above the $ 580 level you bought, I would like to comment on your trading strategy.
At Spot Trading, you should have a long-term plan instead of acting like a margin trader. The price just dropped to 500 $ and you are complaining, which is a signal that you have a very vague plan on the price of ETH in the future.
So I think you should look at W1 or D1 chart and draw trendlines for easier identification and a better trading plan. Your mentality is fluctuating quite strongly at the moment, so learn to hold it back and be more consistent with your profit goals.

Ethereum will be more than just $600, but you need to wait for that time because that will be a mystery that no one will know when it will happen.
