You have the wrong idea about merit. Joining campaigns or doing campaigns are not what a merit sender looks for. I would suggest you to read the first post made about merit by theymos. I could just search it and give the link for you but I leave it up to you to see if you are capable of using the forum features to find a specific topic first.

Find that topic and let me know what you have understood from that topic with the link of the topic in the next post. I will consider reviewing your post history and possibly award some merit if I see you really deserve any.

You will not receive one merit from anyone if you don't contribute something to the community. You are not newbie and knew about merit but did you read these ones?

You should read word by word from 2 topics but the quoted parts show why you did not receive merit because merit was created to stop members like you ranking up.

I'm hoping that this system will increase post quality by:
 - Forcing people to post high-quality stuff in order to rank up. If you just post garbage, you will never get even 1 merit point, and you will therefore never be able to put links in your signature, etc.
 - Highlighting good posts with the "Merited by" line.

While we will not be directly moderating this, I encourage people to give merit to posts that are objectively high-quality, not just posts that you agree with.

Do not beg for merit excessively.

If you view the forum as some sort of "job" where you complete some basic tasks and get paid, then you will almost certainly be disappointed, and the forum administration will not be sympathetic. If you do make money using the forum, then it will be through innovation and entrepreneurship, not any sort of mindless busywork.

Did you read the post of OgNasty in the topic you joined and hoped to earn merit?   

When I see a history of a lot of bounty reports, I just click the ignore button on that user.  I'm seeing a whole lot of ignored responses on this thread now, in case people were wondering why I was ignoring them (or it could be that your signature wouldn't verify but you posted it anyway without checking yourself).

It is almost a year on this forum and asking about how to earn merits, you need to have the kind of zeal that can earn you merits. Learn about bitcoin and others, checking how people are getting merit by check their merited posts and how they are making their contents they are posting, be hardworking, optimistic and believe in yourself, research and make good topics. I believe you are not just new, know that merit source, and many other members will know your account by your quality contributions, there will be a time they will just have to merit you if you start contributing quality posts that are helpful.

Are there any merit campaign that is running here? I don't see any. I cannot see also the relevance of having such campaign. BTW, you're a registered member here for almost a year, you must first get familiar how to use and navigate through the forum. Those pinned threads on different boards are essential to read if you're a newcomer... that helps a lot, it helped me to understand a lot in my case.

Merit will come to you if you post relevant and helpful posts, but anyone can give merits if they have sendableMerits if they will like to give you any.

By "merit campaign" I figure you mean the set of running threads that try to incentive forum member to do something that is not trivial (yet easy), or need a merit to rank-up to the next level.  They are not campaigns, but rather initiatives that try to make things a bit easier.
Having a posting history that is basically an array of bounty reports and participations, actually contravenes the rules depicted in the OP of two of those "merit campaign" threads (AKA, wrongly labelled, "merit giveaways"). Your other two signature-based options are still in play, and you may or may receive merit on those (up to the OP).

In general terms though, looking out exclusively for oneself, through bounties, does not deem any merit, and it’s when you manage to shift focus to trying to help around that you begin to stand a chance of being merited.

Your post history doesn't show any quality that would allow other users to merit as most of them are bounty report. Participating in bounty campaign shouldn't make you so focused that they take over what you can do to develop your potential.

I bet you will never gain anything if you don't try to change your habit to be more useful. Don't let all of your time just create a bounty report as that will only prevent other people from send merit to you. Take a little time trying to post useful stuff because that's the best way to get merit.

With almost a year being on this forum you should've know that users don't like meriting users whose post patterns are laden with bounty reports and POAs, except if you hadn't been reading other users posts. That's what has happened with your case. Except you make some adjustments in your pattern of posts and become constructive in comments and posts; you're likely not going to get any of your posts merited. It's not that no one hasn't seen your profile, it's just that they hardly can find any posts to splash merit on.

You are here already for around 1 year. You should ask this question at least 7-8 months before. If you do that time maybe you at least have an idea about how merit comes even you could able to earn some merits too. You are too late to ask the question. The reason is maybe who helped to come to this forum can not give a proper idea about it.

btw many of us already posted everything you want. I will just say follow them and start your journey from here. Hope you can if you change your posting behavior. Good Luck.

Let's see what you will do once you figure out how to earn merit. I just don't agree that you have to beg because it's not recommended. You just have to try and do it as directed. Fear not, if you will then there are many people willing to help you become a useful user but you will have to work hard for it.
You should know that I am also a user who feel the same way as you are currently feeling. Nearly 100% I was active just to create bounty report and sign up for bounty campaign and in the end I got to realize that I was only working for the few buck I could make from there as most bounty campaign back then ended in scam and failed.

After realizing that it didn't benefit me at all and left me unable to learn about anything, I decided to take the time to learn the right thing in order to be merit. Reading, trying, and doing are the ways that I become a useful user. I hope my experience can motivate you to do better from now on.

Judging by your post history alone, I doubt that a member of this forum would send you a merit due to the fact that it contained full posts of you joining bounty campaigns. If you truly want to receive any merit from the members, change the way you post by contributing something beneficial or amusing to the forum. Learn about cryptocurrencies and share what you have learned.

I have said this a thousand times already and I will say it again, do not chase for merits. Rather, chase for contribution in the forum.

If you continue with this method of gibberish posting, you will find it hard to earn merit.
Ways to earn merit: Post and contribute meaningfully. -Post what someone will understand easily and your English should be well organized. Read carefully before posting. Try as much to build yourself intellectual about crypto.
This forum is all about sharing and gaining knowledge about crypto not only meant for bounty promotions.

Your passion should be learning and not earning messages. If you are an honest member who keeps learning, then one day you will evolve and you will not need anybody's mercy to get merits as your knowledge is the key to open the merits lock. I checked the OP's posts and 85% is the bounty report if you want to get merits because there are no posts that are useful for other people, for me I really lose every time spent on reports while the current bounty campaign does not guarantee payment.
It is better to change the pattern for the OP, how to provide the best content, what expression there is about the world of cryptocurrency in this forum, it will be much better than continuing to ask how to get merits while the behavior is not changed, that's stupid.
Don't forget to read some guidelines for getting merit.

Actually, more than 90% of his posts are Bounty reports.
What's worse as stated by Fatfork before, this is not his only bitcointalk account. Who knows how many more accounts he's got.

I like the position of the current newbies. They claim that no one gives them merit. Meanwhile, they do not think at all about their decency. Writing positive feedback to your alternate account doesn't take a lot of minds.



But creating something useful is very difficult for such characters.
Participation in the bounty program in violation of the rules is also not considered a shame.
Well, from our side, it would be correct to warn the others about such "useful" participants.
