Hello, i want to ask you for my Whatsminer M3. I have 15 units and all of them have the same problem.

If i try to update the firmware from the oficial microbt software. When i press scann button, i dont found anything. Obviously they are in the same ip range.

I tried to unplug and plug all again, try plug fan1 on fan2, and its not working.

Model is Whatsminer M3 with PSU whatsminer P5.

I cant update firmware by Whatsminer Tool. I think it solves with new firmware, but i cant update it.

Anyway, can you access the IP of the miner through the browser? if not then try to access the IP with a mobile phone. If it works maybe your PC/Laptop has a firewall restriction because I heard before that someone can't access or find the IP of their miner using Whatsminertool but it solved after they disable the firewall. So try to disable the firewall from your PC/Laptop.

The fan speed shows "0" so if the fan speed is not detected it won't start to mine.

Are these all 15 miners have the same logs?

I don't know if it can fix the issue by updating the firmware but you should do it first. However, if it does not solve your issue, then both fans might be faulty even the fan is spinning.

Hello. I tried update firmware following these guide. No miner was found on whatsminer tool, so i cant update firmware.

As u can see have diferent firmware version, and one start cgminer and other no.

What can i do to upgrade it? Whatsminer tool dont working.

If it doesn't work your final solution is to flash it through an SD card then update it to the latest firmware.
Download the "H3 SD card Program.zip" under "M3~M1 Firmware" from here https://www.microbt.com/server/firmware.html?locale=en

The SD card flashing guide is included in the zip file.

I was searching 20180516.10.1 firmware, but i dont found it, with other firmware fails too.

I found it .tgz but i dont know how to install it. If you have discord and can support me, if its necessary i can pay u.

20180516.10.1 still available on pangolinminer from here https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1iesRzZpl3JuVZa5nsKPHod8FfqXLRdY8. The only problem I don't know either how to flash with .tgz.

How about following the guide from here https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/12MQqtbh1jNu20zBdxWYra4OdddnxQGvw. That link is from PangolinMiner which is the official distributor of MicroBT.

whatsminer.net is another distributor but most of their firmware is old you can also check their firmware here https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-VQx7gEj4gse5t0dQ2a6-0N_n1wFtMBE.
