Even with a 3% inflation rate, you're looking at 750k instead of a million, and remember that the printing machine is in full swing, it takes just 6% to halve your future earnings.

Decent and 3rd world country? That doesn't make a lot of sense, if a country is "decent" is by no means 3rd world. And I would have healthcare the last thing on my mind, the first is the bureaucracy that might end taking half of my money and crime that might take the rest. Probably the safest pic would be the Baltic countries or the Visegrad group, 1 million (now!) would suffice for a noncapital city, but only if you're in the 50 already. One million will not help you live too comfortably if you start at 40!

The trick is to continue having income while waiting for the $1m price. Well, but I guess that really isn't technically "retiring"..

But really though, living in a 3rd world country can be decent unless you literally live in a country like Venezuela. There are really decent 3rd world countries out there! They're mostly only crappy when you're in poverty; but if you have the money? It can suffice if you like living modestly.

Things are getting exciting this time. It made nearly 3 years for bitcoin to be seen @$19k again and when it has dumped, the recovery was very quick.

I've read articles that they've said that it broke ATH in some exchanges. But I'm only looking at CMC.

As others said, the last ATH was $20080 and the rest of us believes it was $19700. But you know what, as long as it's maintaining from $16k-$19k. We're having a good holiday.

It's already so popular now, no need to wait for it to reach $50K, the pandemic can't stop bitcoin. I fully agree with the idea that we only need 1BTC to be able to retire in the future, it is an extremely attractive investment.

It is right. If bitcoin can be more popular when reaching $50k, that will attract many people to join in the bitcoin world because they want to make money like other people. That will be why people join in bitcoin, but I am sure that some of them will want to use bitcoin as their investment for a long time. I admitted that this year and next year could be the good time for bitcoin to reaching the highest price, but I don't know how high the price will increase because there is no sign about that. We can enjoy the price while also trying to profit in bitcoin from trading, so we can have many bitcoin that will be ready to sell at a high price.

the price is too high for the near term, the highs are only $ 30k in my opinion, so don't expect to take any more profits and losses in the short term

The price is really amazing.

It fell back and I thought it would just stay at $16K or $17K but it didn't, it is now at $19.4K and it might still go strong going for a new ATH this year. We should talk advantage of these movements so we won't have any regrets in the upcoming months. I think it's so early to predict about the dump and we are newly entering the month of December so provably we can see more from it and maybe we can see some pumps since the hype still on the good side. We are all hoping for the ATH to be broken but it seems it has been testing out for how many times but doesnt mean that price would really be just staying up that level.

For now the best thing to do is to be patient and do on buying up when it corrected and make profits when it recovers and this is what im doing.

There wasnt that many buyers at 20k or even nearby.   It moved really rapidly in that space and didnt have half as much volume compared to the 10k area so if its hesitating now I dont place much faith in that historic reference for resistance.   Maybe 20k is twice the name drop that 10k brings, hard to fathom the quantum stupidity of the human brain but its 4 zeros we have to pass to get into the 20k's

And it's now back way below $19k now, resistance is still there as obviously, a $20k is rejected again. We could have reach the overbought zone again that's why the price quickly drop in less than 24 hours after reaching as high as $19,800.

We are still in bullish sentiments though, not unless we broke to $17k-$16k worst, then the bears have regain control of the market. So let's see on the 4 hour timeframe, if there could be a divergence pulling the price even further down.

Not just to reach $20k, bitcoin price seems difficult to hit $19k again because it still stays at $18k level. But I am sure that it is a matter of time for bitcoin to reach and hit $19k and even reach $20k again. If $20k can be hit this month, we will have a chance to make a big profit because many people are already preparing their bitcoin to be sold at a high price.

People will still wait for the next ATH, and they believe that will happen sooner or later. No matter if the next ATH will occur in this month or next year, they will have more patience for that.

Really itmke us to remembered the 2017.I hope this will create huge investors as like in this. But not surely about the investment. Many are waiting to see the price of 20, 000$ . But the reverse is happening for now. So holding of valuable bitcoin will be the correct option for now to avoid of panic selling. Don't excite with small pump and dump in bitcoin price.

I appreciate the optimism but to reach the high targets requires a structure to the build in price movement.   Just going straight up risks the price collapsing also as there is not enough volume selling and buying along the way, that is just the nature of previous moves and its a far better bet we continue as we have done.   BTC is already the most impressive asset of recent times maybe forever and its come out of nowhere to surprise almost everyone.    Its far better long term for price sticking more then just a surge if we do it over years not just this recent rise extending, it might be more boring but I dont see a feasible alternative.
