Well! Unless you choose long term, or maybe we can start buying some altcoins 5% -10% of the capital, or split into 3 parts when entering the market.  There are many altcoins whose prices have been Dip I guess.  the most important thing is not all in. remember about risk management

Now bitcoin price move is different than before. It has gained strong position, investor become mature. Maybe panic sell won't happen largely during dump session. I think the actual bull run haven't started yet. After the new price peak probably we will see a flash dip but it may not go down much and the recover will happen shortly. So we need to stay aware to catch the pattern for selling and buying crypto at proper time. Otherwise holding won't be bad. Believe in the future of bitcoin.

This is going to be a very very difficult situation for veterans to explain it to noobs as well. First it was 2017 when November increased a lot and people said November/December is the month to increase because 2014 was November as well and 2017 was November December as well so that means it is the month for big increases. Now in 2020 we had a huge increase in November too so that is 3 years where November/December meant increases to huge record numbers.

However people are forgetting that there were in between years that we didn't increased that much, it wasn't really related to the month but to things that happened. If the logic was "every 3 years on November/December we increase" you could basically just sell everything you own and buy bitcoin in October 2023 and will make profit, do you trust it that much?

And for buying, we've been telling this before that everyone has to buy at those prices that are under $15k and $10k. Now, they're starting to think again if it's best to buy. They can wait until bitcoin goes back to those low prices or we might not see those prices again ever.

I disagree, in the short term you can lose your stack in alts as well.  Most coins are made just for the sake of making more bitcoin on the trade/flip, if you buy at the wrong time you could end up on the ever sloping decent into the alt graveyard alongside with thousands of others.  If it were as easy as buy some alts and flip into a bitcoin bull run then everyone would do it.  Most traders get burned, but you don't hear about those stories often...

December is very volatile, even though it's not the weekend,
the $ 1000 Pump and $ 1000 dump is also happening on the Bitcoin price,
making price altcoins follow suit too, it will be difficult to get to the moon.

There is no guarantee if that can happen the same as in the past because the crypto market is moving differently than the last year or a few years ago. So if that is not happening this month, you should not be disappointed, and perhaps, you can be ready for anything that can happen later.

But since the last month, the bitcoin price made a great move and increased to the high price, and we do not see the bitcoin price is at $18,700. I just hope same scenario would be happening this year end of December, and bullrun would commence successfully without any hindrance of bearish market. Furthermore, don't let your fears stop you with your plans towards the progress of your holdings. Its hard to say what will happen in December however I am pretty sure January 2021 will be a bearish month. The reason why is because many people who want to keep their taxes low will hold until end of year and on January 1  2021 they will sell their holdings. This way they pay less taxes if they fall under a certain bracket.

There are times when it's gone the other way. In January 2013 the market went straight up nonstop. There were no real pullbacks until March.

The tax season narrative fits really well after bubbles. Beforehand, it's more of a tossup.

I would love to see it to happen but on the other hand, just be ready in to the worst case scenario that might happen anytime soon.
Take note that this bull run that is happening is heavily driven by institutions as they are buying Bitcoins daily. You don't know what might happen tomorrow because they can just dump their tokens and take profit anytime they want.

I'm not saying that the month of December will not be the month of mooning as there are no signs as of now that Bitcoin will go the opposite trend but just be ready for the worst if it will happen (I hope it will not).

Holding without proper plan is dangerous maybe you need to take a look with the market since if you just believe the hype going on then provably you will miss the opportunity to secure a big profit when ATH comes, so if I where you better to hold and have a separate balance for short trades so that you can maximize your profit in this current good happening in the market.

We are at day 2 now of December but yesterday Bitcoin made another attempt of taking the $20,000 value again yet did not reach.
Now steps at $19,000 again ang seemingly will run up anytime soon.

Each December is the time recorded of the ATH and i thought this will change last November when bitcoin spikes up but of course failure so lets see this month.

Its hard to say what will happen in December however I am pretty sure January 2021 will be a bearish month. The reason why is because many people who want to keep their taxes low will hold until end of year and on January 1  2021 they will sell their holdings. This way they pay less taxes if they fall under a certain bracket.

There are times when it's gone the other way. In January 2013 the market went straight up nonstop. There were no real pullbacks until March.

it is just hard to predict hwo will the market behave on the following days or months. But there is a huge assumption for this month simply because history was made before when ATH wa reached. And same thing goes on the month of January wherein many gamblers are anticipating for a sudden downfall. If December is not coming for the Bull then it will happen surely next year.And if you are Holder then you won't be bother if the ATH will be done today or the next or even in year because the trust you awarded for your coins will be rewarded in future.

But I still doubt it will stay that way.

If all traders come to one decision to full out their altcoin investments and put all in Bitcoin thats surely the answer to our prayers,
But so far there is no sign of having that because ripple and Ethereum seems to be still having their own sets of investors.

December this year will be the same or better than previous years, the bull run has started early in the fourth quarter and will be more impressive this month. Volatility will give us a chance to buy bitcoin at a better price and the benefits will come at the end of the month.

Of course surely this December is much better than the past 2 years 2018-2019 because now we had Break the ATH and still standing strong.

I don't think December was not always been a mooning season that it only happens in the last year of 2017, but I see that this year of 2020, the price of bitcoin will be the same as 2017 because bitcoin has already reached its ATH price in some exchanges like Binance. So I assume the bull run would continue until the Q1 of 2021.

I hope this bull run season will be different the other season, the previous bull runs just give a little increase and give a bug dump after the pump. Take a look 2017 ago, the bull run marker had made bitcoin price touch $20.000 and the bad thing happen the next bull run that made bitcoin price dump to $3500.

But now, I hope it will be different and I think there will be many people who will think like that. Bitcoin is mature to be said as an investment place and there will be many people who will think like that as well.

The recovery from $3500 to touch its all time high has proven that bitcoin is not bubble or whatever the negative term  which was often thrown at anymore. We traders are just reacting to the moves of the market and we do not have power to see the future price, as of the current data of different cryptocurrencies; it is more likely that we will gonna have good month because there are a lot of coins that are gaining momentum in these past days even there is retracement happen last week. My bias is to see that the price of the bitcoin will gonna beat its ATH before the year ends, the resistance is still tough and it is why the price of the bitcoin keep rejecting the $19,950 area but once the price break that area for sure that the bull run that we are going to see is much stronger than what happen in the year 2017.
