BlockFi Announces Early 2021 Launch for Bitcoin Rewards Credit Card

The New York City-based company, known for its lending operation, interest-bearing crypto products and trading desk, announced Tuesday that it will launch its long-awaited bitcoin rewards credit card in the first quarter of next year.

I have also just read it on the news that it cost $200 per year, I can never use this card in my opinion, I am not ready to receive any 1.5% of my purchases back in bitcoin which is said according to the news for the card holders as I read it. I will still prefer to just have my noncustodial ways of doing this or better resort to their fiat. Any lack single breaches in privacy makes my bitcoin not private for me again, I believe we all know that.

I do not think of all these covid-19 drama that occur in the world and catch many people from spending their money for fear that they will be fired from their jobs and thus lose their money from having to exchange their electronic gold money in exchange for Credit Card services.

With my reading of all the fees imposed for obtaining this service, I think that many are not encouraged to purchase it, and thus the project ends before it is implemented.
