My ETH Rigs Quit Last Night

I’ve got two ETH rigs made up of RX580 and RX570 8GB and 4GB cards.

The error I’m getting is: “cannot write buffer for DAG”.

Does this mean the 4GB can no longer mine ETH?

Switch to another miner  , you probably used claymores .
PhoenixMiner_5.3b is kinda easy switch but you might going to lose some hashrate

4GB still can mine ETH fine , 4GB ASICs also still hashing

There are two possible solutions I can think of right now

1. Put the 8GB GPU in the first slot of your motherboard, the miner will use the first GB size for all other slots as well, kinda good trick IMO and it works for me

2. Switch to ETC, right now you can mine ETC with 3GB cards because ETC team have modified their dagger hashimoto algorithm themselves so there is enough room for your 4GB graphic cards
