Now bitcoin is preparing to reach another ATH. Are you still there and holding your bitcoins? What happened to your life after 10 years in bitcoin? Is there any changes?

I will just say that there are very few active members of the forum who have been here since the beginning, so there are not many who can say what happened to them in their lives in those 10 years. On the other hand, there are a lot of people like me who first came to the forum 5-6 years ago and can certainly witness a time when Bitcoin was still quite undervalued, not only by ordinary small investors, but also by those who today invest hundreds of millions of dollars in the same.

Of course, a lot has changed in that period, and many will admit that they are sorry that they did not keep their BTC that they had then. It was only during 2017 and after the massive bull run that most realized the potential of Bitcoin, because it exceeded all expectations in terms of price. I have no doubt that some people's lives have changed for the better because of the profits they have made - but they are only rewarded for recognizing the right opportunity in time, and for enduring all the difficult moments that followed during the early years of Bitcoin.

Maybe a little too late for me to know Bitcoin. But I have felt the benefits for me. Several times I took money for family needs from BTC. I tried to keep increasing the BTC, but it was a little difficult for me because I was relatively new. I take advantage of the volatility of the BTC price which impacts the Altcoin pair. Buy and sell at the right time. But it's so hard I still need a lot to learn.

Not just bitcoin but even others have live through their profits in 2017 doing some bounty campaigns. And I remember there where threads around saying that some of them have quit their job and focus on being a bounty hunter and doing some trading because it gives them so much money. But that was 2018, so most probably majority of them suffered worst financially as we enter the bearish trend.

As for me, yeah many has change since I go full crypto, lots of ups and downs along the way, but I would say that it is still good though, made profits and help me understand what bitcoin and investment is all about specially that majority here was in the 2017 bull run and I'm sure they have experience a lot but learn a precious lessons in bitcoin investment.

I see a good but not the best life 10 years for now with the help of Bitcoin.

This might sound quite optimistic but I believe that Bitcoin will help me to be financially free. It will help me from escaping the world of rat race (if you are working for 8 hours in a company or you've read Rich Dad Poor Dad then you know what rat race is).

It might sound too be good to be true or you are very optimistic but I'm also ready for the worst case scenario that might happen anytime. I know that all of us believe that Bitcoin will not go to zero anymore but for me there is still a chance that it might happen. Probably the same chance as winning in a lottery.

10 years ago bitcoin created by Satoshi Nakamoto and the people who bought bitcoin in the first year for sure they got a hundred thousands dollars upto millions and they are rich because of the bitcoin.

But those people who did not care about bitcoin and they did not buy they did not earn money and they have news the others lost the key of their wallet because they did not care about bitcoin before and they lost millions of dollars.

For the next 10 years I hope more people will earn a lot of money and change their life as good not bad.

I am sure people involved in bitcoin for more than 5 years will have a different life, but that is only for people who are always seeking a way to make more bitcoin or make money. But if that person is only focused on joining in the investment without knowing if that investment is real or not, he will not change his life, and even he will not have a chance to make money.

Perhaps, OP should've stated the question from the time of the most famous Bitcoin awareness —2017. That was the time Bitcoin had an unprecedented publicity. Sadly, that was when I joined this forum with little or no idea of what Bitcoin was. The bull run happened before my eyes like an Eldorado. It was like Bitcoin would never crash even though a lot of veterans made predictions it was going down to below $5,000. That range seemed impossible at the time. Well, we all know that story now. My story from that point hasn't been extraordinary. It's the same story of waiting for altcoins to push up because of Bitcoin run.

However, look at what I found about Bitcoin All Time Low. I believe the data isn't correct. Wasn't there a time Bitcoin sold for that less?

The data is correct for the period for which it is stated - because the same is also stated on the CMC from which the coingecko probably took the data. As the CMC is often taken as a relevant source of information when it comes to past data, and it was launched in 2013 - for many that year serves as a starting point.

Of course, when the price went downhill, it's not the end of it rather it's a new beginning for the new investors who have some courage to wait for the price to rise again and it's really happening right now after less than 3 years. Maybe if those who hold it up until now will sell their BTC or not. if not, the price will stay still and there might be some changes before the end of this year to raise even more than its current price.

My life in crypto hasn't been that long but it already changed so much.
It gave me financial freedom and also made me earn much more than I could think of.
It gave me more opportunities to earn specially this time that most of us are force to leave our work.

Indeed, we bet those people that already knew bitcoin 10 years ago have a good and easy life right now. Like they are the ones that have a big investment, already know the flow of the market, and even good at trading making their own money grow with their own knowledge. We also want that to happen that is why as the cryptocurrency innovates we should also adopt what is changing and what is happening in the market so that we are not wasting our time here. We avoid losing money so we should keep learning and do what we do good. Keep on investing, if you fail, just keep trying.

Interesting question, I regret selling it so cheaply in 2017, because maybe at that time my appreciation of Bitcoin was still a bit skeptical. Not like it is now. After the Bitcoin bull run, I focused on working for a bank and didn't care much about it. I have seen Bitcoin rise again for a few months now, so my life comes back to Bitcoin and I want to take advantage of improving my capture and investment so that I can change my life.

Well, I still regret that time that I thought Bitcoin would be just a bubble that would disappear through time but Bitcoin did the impossible and now is reaching another All time high. Right now, I have decided that I will continue to pursue a career within the Blockchain Industry since it would really be a great investment for the future.

I don't know I will alive more ten years from now. But if I stay in this earth, I will be more matured in that time compared with now. So maybe I will work for my family yo fullfil our needs and I will be available in a job with good sallery. In that time, Bitcoin price will be more may be double or more than that of now. It’s being couple of years now and thanks to friend and then researched helped me to reach to this forum and started liking and understanding it in a better way. Must say it has been just like a roller coaster ride as was not that risk taker and during initial days due to its volatility had some hard times. But as time passed understood the risk and volatile and then with some money started investing in it and really only thing is that should have known much earlier so would have being a early adopter and bought at much lower price and also would have helped to impart more information about bitcoin at early stage itself to relatives and other known ones.

I known Bitcoin since 2014, it's been six year and yet 10 years but I can say, being involved in cryptocurrency gives a huge change in my life.  At some point when BTC was skyrocketing way back 2017, it gives me momentary financial freedom, it enables me to accumulate realty assets and somehow established myself somehow.  Though, I am not holding any BTC right now, being involved in BTC industry for the past years had somehow fulfilled some of my wishes.

AFAIK, we've just reached another ATH on Monday and that's $19800. Breaking a few bucks from the last ATH. Well, CMC shows it's $19773 so that's kind of short to the last ATH. Nevertheless, I'm still holding and I don't know what will happen to me after 10 years.
As much as possible, it's part of my plan to hold at least some up to that year. And with my experience from the time that I've started to invest in bitcoin, it has changed my life in so many ways. The common things just like others are sharing.

I buy bitcoin with some remaining money after meeting my regular needs. I have been doing this for the last six months, now I have a good value of Bitcoin deposited in my volt. I want to accumulate something like this until the price of Bitcoin reaches $30,000. I think this is a good and profitable idea for everyone.

Congratulations to you. What you've done is cost averaging, no one has stopped you from doing that, and not even single news for the past 6 months. But IIRC, by that period many are already doubting if it's a good time to buy because it's moving up. And here you are, make yourself well by simply doing it silently. It is a good strategy but doesn't think that everyone will follow your steps. We have our own strategies and some might create their own plan on when they shall accumulate.

I know about Bitcoin 3 years ago but have felt the enormous benefits to date...
currently, my kitchen needs are fulfilled because of Bitcoin, I did not make much of Bitcoin for a month but it really means in times of crisis like today. Bitcoin is my fortune.

People’s perspective on bitcoin has changed a lot nowadays. That can see many people who have already adopted bitcoin, including big companies and rich people like Op said. That’s because we all look at the history of bitcoin and if we look at it today, we will repeat all that history even many people believe, bitcoin will be more valuable and have a new ATH. This positive thinking, of course, is because many people already benefit from adopting bitcoin. including me, I also want to make a profit on the new ATH later, although the bitcoin that I hold today is not as much as the rich people there.
