I call Bitcoin a gem. Because once paper money will have no value. The only reason behind not having the price of paper money. People's interest is changing day by day. Now people are leaning towards digital transactions. Now no one wants to do cash transactions. That is why the importance of cryptocurrency has increased a lot.
Bitcoin is a currency. Which you can use it for any purpose at any moment in any place. Just one transaction. In my opinion, the government of every country should give legitimacy to cryptocurrency. Has already given legitimacy from many countries.

What do you mean? Bitcoin is already a gem, the problem is that people keeps ignoring it, calling it a ponzi scam. But how time flies isn't it, now institutions are seeing it as more of a reserved assets, while individuals are using it to hedge their wealth into it. That's why the price keeps going up and may hit another all time high at the end of the year or eventually next year. A lot of exciting things ahead of bitcoin market.

I fully agree that Bitcoin is already a gem because it's considered a new advent and we can agree that gold is becoming obsolete and Bitcoin can take the place and become a store of value. Anyway, we are slowly seeing this happen and prices prove it. Another important point is the level of membership that is growing every day, further strengthening the claim to be a gem.

The value already surpasses gem, as I googled 2 carat gem priced at $4000 whle we're at $20K and bitcoin is definitely far more precious than gem in many people's eyes despite it's being a digital currency with no pyhsical appearance.
It's only matter of time until mass adoption come and the price of bitcoin goes up again. Heck at this point I'm not doubtful when someone says it's gonna hit a hundred thousand but yeah we'll see.

I'm not sure if a better statement has been made.  It's not just about macro of BTC, but rather the ease and efficiency of being able to securely exchange "currency" on a global level for a service, good, or just to friends and family.  Sometimes I have to step back and think in smaller terms rather than appear as a deer in headlights.  Also, this will be the in my next discussion with my kids (all of mine are young) to help explain some of the utility of cryptocurrency.

Some people consider bitcoin as a digital gold but wait why do they have to compare bitcoin to physical gold bars? Bitcoin is bitcoin and its better than gold. Comparing bitcoin and name-calling it as a digital gold is unfair.

Some people who don't have belief in bitcoin will consider it as a germ or worse as a fraud digital currency. They will change their minds with ups and downs of bitcoin. When bitcoin rises like past few months they shout "Bitcoin is a found germ" but when bitcoin falls 10 or 30 percent in short time, they make noise "Hey bitcoin is fraud, scam, and volatile". Those people will always are observers of the bitcoin market.

I don't think they have any idea about bitcoin so they would never call bitcoin a scam if they knew its proper use everyone would jump in to invest while bitcoin may not be the next gem the market is in high demand and is a very profitable currency to invest in the crypto market. Its already gem, Either the fiat currency still valuable but not too long when dollar money was crashed I'm worried with my USDT because the value of dollar. Digital Payment is gaining popularity no doubt but it is not even close to a fraction of people using fiat till now, btc is valuable and very popular but who knows if btc will be the currency that will be chose by the majority to transact with,

Definitely bitcoin was now a hidden gem that only a small portion of people knows about it. It is a hidden gem that people will only hear the name of it but it would take their time and effort to get to know more about this because to be honest it isn't easy to explain bitcoi or cryptocurrency to those people who didn't have any interest about it. Bitcoin is same as the gold, they both have a good market value but the only difference about is unlike gold that if you have your capability to buy then its up to you if you would sell it or will just keep it but in bitcoin you are needed to pay your attention and time to be able to get a profit.

Bitcoin is already a gem, it's not "going to be". Over the years, the gains gotten from Bitcoin investment surpasses most investments. I think the phrase "next gem" should be used when talking about a prospective altcoin, not BTC. I will personally hold some of my BTC for many more years, provided no tragedy comes up in future. I think those investing in BTC presently are not even late, more greater heights to be achieved even though there will surely be ups and downs in between.

There has been much recognition by some governments in some countries, the pandemic this year even helped a lot in limiting cash transaction has people go cashless. If 90% of the government will applaud bitcoin this will boost it more and with this more people will get to invest but even at this rate bitcoin is the next gem.
