The short answer is no. Collateral is king around here.
The longer answer is, due to so many people being scammed. Even though they have the full details of the user giving up your information isn't an acceptable form of collateral anymore. Too many people have had details of a borrower and not been able to do something about it.
Also think of it this way. You are asking a stranger to lend you $55 dollars. Can you imagine giving such a loan yourself? In my opinion a LOT of people wouldn't, yet still seem to think that asking for it is acceptable.
Sorry if I have come across as overly negative, but the apparent naivity is really frustrating.
