Hello crypto friends,

I have traded my coins throw the wallet Exodus via using Coinswitch exchange.
On 27 September I exchanged my TRX coins for BTC. Around 165000 TRX for 0.4 BTC.

After the exchange, I have been notified that I need to pass KYC. I have done it, but they requested from me a video of myself.
Next, they answered in the next week that it needs to be verified by the security. After writing a ton of mails they keep saying that I need to wait for their answer, that is been until now. In addition, they are not answering my tickets anymore.
I have gone to their telegram, and I see that many people are not getting answers to the tickets too.
This exchange looks a bit shady.
I keep writing to them, if you had dealt with them already let's discuss it here.
I will keep updating.

update:
I have a dialogue with the team of Exodus wallet, they have done trying to contact with coinswitch.co exchange, but no results so far.
As they noted, it's a third party(coinswitch) for Exodus wallet, so they cannot cover the losses. Exodus noted that they will follow this situation, and gave a little kind gesture.

For me, the coinswitch team not answering on social media(twitter, telegram ...). A lot of people not getting answered to their tickets. It's the first sign of a real Scam.
About Exodus wallet, guys you better follow the things, because I'm sure that many people use Exodus Wallet and most newcomers will try to use the exchange option. It's bad for crypto eco if people come in and get scammed right inside the wallet that they use. Remove or try to get in contact with them about current situation.

I have asked a couple of people in telegram chat, people got frozen their coins mostly from September 2020 and the volume is high.

Careful using the Coinswitch.co so far now.

will be updating as it goes, take care!

Exodus wallet should make more obvious and clear they are using third party coinswitch for exchanging coins inside their wallet.
Coinswitch also have topic on bitcointalk forum with several negative trust feedbacks on their profile and topic, but looks like they are not active here anymore:

They also have other profile banned here:

Exodus should be somewhat responsible for this if you use coinswitch on exodus as third party exchange. And you should request to disable this feature on Exodus from linking the exchange on their wallet to keep their users away from coinswitch.

If you've seen lots of users' complain on their telegram group without getting resolved after months of contacting them, I guess you should be able to prevent getting scammed if you read reviews from different sources first before using their service. Anyway try to contact them and keep them updated till they respond you.

They used to be good, but they seem to have turned into scammers. So many members have been complaining about the exchange and the customer support doesn't seem to care at all.

I would advise you to avoid coinswitch or any service that uses them as a third party exchange. I have never been comfortable exchanging my coins through wallets using third parties. I usually prefer doing the whole process myself by sending coins to exchanges like binance, kucoin and trading them myself.

Ever since I got into the Folding@Home project which allows you to earn Curecoin, I've been interested in where Curecoin is traded since it's such an obscure altcoin.  Well, if you look on Curecoin's website, they list Coinswitch as one of those exchanges--but I can't tell if it's the same thing as what OP used.

Anyway, that's unfortunate OP is having a hard time getting any help.  I think Exodus (and Coinomi, which also partnered with Coinswitch) should vet their partners a little bit better so they're not setting up their wallet users to get scammed.  That's the least they can do IMO.

Exodus wallet should make more obvious and clear they are using third party coinswitch for exchanging coins inside their wallet.
Even better, they ought to just ditch Coinswitch and partner with another instant exchange with a better reputation.  Even Changelly or ShapeShift would be better.

Hello guys,

Yes, I totally agree with this solution for Exodus Wallet, to have a button to unbind the third party exchanges inside the wallet.

Coinswitch is not answering.
However, I asked my friend to create an account on their platform and write an email and guess what? he got a reply.

Now one good advice I most give you is that, should you want to make trade in any exchange please check their withdrawal limitations and KYC requirements before proceeding any with  transactions, and if there is any try to do verification first and being verified thoroughly before you could execute trade withdraw all your funds.
