I’ve tried a lot of different platforms for margin trading but each time it was just pain in the ass. For spot trades I’m using Bittrex, however it doesn’t have a margin trading option. Coinbase stopped that program. And I’m not very good with Binance, ‘cause had problems there multiple times. Who can recommend any other platforms?

Can you just comment about the problem you are having with margin trading on binance?

Binance might not be user friendly but it is a good exchange platform for margin trading. Or, do you need a platform you will be able to go long and short for margin trading?

Or maybe I should post you a video to understand how margin trading works on binance?

I’m using Binance, Bitmex, and HitBTC. Bitmex is a bit difficult according to its UX. Having troubles with Binance, you might try margin trading on HitBTC.

I have traded on HitBTC very often, they supported margin, even you can go 12x for bitcoin and ether now. You can be able to go long or short position as well, is is truly a good platform for margin trading. But as I have heard from many people that their HitBTC account was freezed and were forced to verify their accounts, also is the issue of 0.2% taker fee which has now been increased to 0.25%, although the marker fee is still at 0.1%. Another issue is the withdrawal fee, it is very high, 0.0015 btc for bitcoin, 20 USDt for tether, 6 xrp for ripple and so on.

I’m pleased with the margin tr on HitBTC. It’s super simple and intuitive + you can use it on a mobile.

Why is everyone suggesting HitBTC, a very controversial exchange that is selectively scamming people with their close to impossible KYC verification process? Just check out their ANN thread and scam accusations board and see how many people are complaining about the exchange.
Today is someone, tomorrow it could be you getting scammed

They also have the one of the highest withdrawal fees I have witnessed in a crypto exchange. Total exploitation!

I do use Bitmex, Bybit and ftx.com (they actually have no withdrawal fees, Terms and conditions apply though). No complications in any of the platforms so far.

Have you tried FTX?
I already have an account on this platform and already tried to explore. What I can say is this trading platform is also good since you can spot trade or do some margin trading too.
They also have their mobile apps where you can trade on your mobile phone. Btw, what problems did you encountered with Binance before?

HitBTC is shady and need to be cautious when you use it.

For margin tradings, I would go to following exchanges:
- Bitfinex: https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/bitfinex/
- Bybit: https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/bybit/
- BitMEX: https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/bitmex/
- PrimeXBT: https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/primexbt/

If you want to have an exchange to mix for margin trading and spot trading, Binance is the best with many trading pairs and high volume, no KYC for 2 BTC and below withdrawal every day.

Binance is very good for newbie to trade because it expose so many things to investors by helping them to make a reliable income from the exchange market. Many people are still finding it difficult to trade with Binance which is very good in profit making, if you follow the rules and regulations guiding the platform very easy to make a good profit. If you trade with Binance, it will hard for you to lose unless you fail to obey the market structure which will make you not to achieve anything from your trade.

Saying binance is good in profit making us not accurate because binance deals with trading, if you can trade on Binance and make profit, then you can trade on all other exchanges and make profits. People can learn about trading and know the strategies they will use to gain irrespective of the exchange the person is using. But I have also used binance to trade before, specifically both spot and future, it is a good exchange site for trading, but not to depict it like trading itself is not risky.

Huh? We can actually use our mobile phones when using other margin trading platforms such as Binance, bittrex and bitmex.

@OP, what particulat problems do you usually encounter with those platforms you have already used? Ive tried Binance before but since I do used Bitmex frequently that is why I go back to Bitmex platform. Been using it since last year, with right trading and good reading of technical analysis of course whatever platforms you may want to use, it will be always benefit you if you know how to make a good plan and strategy.

Binance offers this on their platform. They even have a mobile app too so you can trade anytime you want.
But be careful of margin trading, though you can earn large profit, the chance of going 0 of your bankroll is also high.
I've seen some of my friends failed on this and I can also admit that it is a very risky thing to do if you don't know how it works properly.

I think Bittrex don't run Margin trading features. So If you are really interested in Margin trading, I think Binance is a wonderful place for Margin trading. In Binance there are two types of Margin trading. One is Cross margin and another is Isolated margin trading. I hope you know what is cross margin and what is isolated margin.
If you don't know about them, no problem you can learn from their academy section about those tradings features.

I had problems with verification and my account was blocked, but now the problem has been resolved. I am also very tired of various security methods, including two-factor authentication, which causes the IOS application to log out of the system and therefore I have to constantly re-login to the application.

I recommend trading on the Indodax platform from Indonesia, there is no margin, you just need your patience. In my opinion, if a market or exchange has all the margin trading, it is very difficult to get profit, Indodax has no margin, but you should be able to read clear and detailed charts or information, read the latest news about future assets.

It's just small problem and it's not even affecting your trade if your account is automatically logout. You also have other option like open it in browser instead of using app for logins .

So many buttons to click before you can actually try margin trading. If you have to borrow coins for the purpose of trading it with leverage, I think they just have to make it available in the margin mode and that's it. You are free to go long and short after borrowing but that is not how you can do it with finance the first time I tried it. I have not tried anywhere though I remain to be on the spot market after losing some funds, maybe I will try if it gets easier to do it.

I was trading on the Coinbase at one time it was a great site, but for some reason they closed the margin trading function... Now I don't want to trade mr, but I still read various news related to this type of trading. Here is a very interesting article about platforms with margin trading, but never trust the words of everyone on the forum, think with your own head.
