Alex at Atomminer has created a cool, micro FPGA miner. It barely uses any power, similar to a light bulb and operates silently.

This miner currently automines the most profitable algo (auto profit switching) and is currently pulling over 1200 satoshis per day in altcoins.

Alex is also developing the AtomMiner AM02 which will have significantly more chips and in lieu it will have significantly higher hashrates. This will also have the auto profit switch feature.

This miner requires an RPI or controlling computer to operate.

The Specs:

Algo        Hashrate    Power
Keccak/Keccak-C 540MH/s    18W
SHA256        500MH/s    16W
Blakecoin        1200MH/s    13W
Gr0estl        32MH/s    10W
Skein2        44MH/s    6.7W
Myriad        32MH/s    9.8W
sha256t        180MH/s    10W
sha256q        150MH/s    11W
odocrypt        50MH/s    7.2W
blake2s        1200MH/s    12W
blockstamp     300MH/s    15W
tribus        30MH/s    10W
blake2b (GLT)     250MH/s    10W
blake2b (TNET)    250MH/s    11W

The advantages:

  • Super Low Power Consumption
  • Silent operation
  • Auto FPGA Reconfiguration (profit switching)
  • Small and lightweight (desk miner)
  • hashrates comparable to GPUs at 1/10th the power consumption
  • No heat
  • FPGA versatility - Multiple algorithms supported
  • Future bitstream opportunity - Even more algorithms that have not been developed yet
  • 3 year warranty from manufacturer

    Fore more features see here:

Please contact  atom@atomminer.com for any queries

Alex has been a pleasure to deal with right from the beginning, I trust Alex and would feel comfortable placing more orders.

Nice but the price is a way to high, it will never touch the roi in my opinion.

Holy shit about the price , thats for sure a bit to expensive and will never get you the money back !
The features about that this miners supports a few algorithms is very cool and looks nice !
But i guess if you buy for that price some GPUs you will get more money back in an year as with this Miner.

if you want to tinker around... interesting. Keep in mind:

on FPGA usually only Parties that earn money are:

1. Seller of FPGA
2. Provider of the Bitstream

there is currently no FPGA out that can make back the Invest in under 1 Year. the atom would need >5 Years to make back the Invest.
(if the market would not move for 5 Years)

If you want to invest, buy BTC/ETH or buy GPU Cards and mine. (3060TI looks like a solid deal)

cheers

The main purpose of this is to validate that the seller is legitimate and to showcase this miner. it is certainly neat. But yes ROI takes a long time

A Blackminer F2 Square cost less (479$) and have more fpga chips and more hashrate. Makes more sense in my opinion.

If the seller will only show he is legit, he must go down with the price. No one will buy this shit miner and so no one can say this is legit.

I disagree with this statement.

The miner is legitimate, even if you are not happy with the price.

With the statement that I have one coming in, most things like this are never going to ROI.
This unit / Terminus R606 / Futurebit Apollo / Blackminer none are going to ROI in any sane amount of time.

Back of the napkin numbers with 0 power costs:

Best / quickest to ROI: Apollo is $375 does 120mh/s scrypt at todays difficulty / price that will get you $13.50 a month or 28 months
Worst / longest to ROI: Terminus 606 is $300 does 700Ghs SHA256 at todays difficulty / price that will get you $4.00 a month or 75 months

But things like this are quiet and fun to play with.

-Dave
