Let's say it will go down so when price goes to 16 k the buyers will Jump in very fast.
And price will bounce back to 19 k fast.

No accumulating? How could you possibly know this? There is no data that shows which rich person bought how much and at what price, it is something we have no idea over at all, and yet here we are considering it like it is a data we were shown. I think as long as rich people can accumulate with low amounts but in shorter breaks instead of buying all together, they would be under the radar and will be capable of buying bitcoin. This is why I doubt that you would know if there is an accumulation or not. By the looks of it we may never know and that is why I can't speak as freely as you.

However we only have about 3 weeks left of this year and I do not see the point of talking about only for a three week period, we have to manage to see beyond that level for sure.

Ethereum are different,  ETH been accumulated by the retail traders just today and yesterday by the retail and bigger players of institutions.

Ethereum has been very bullish from the onset but the agenda against it lead by the bitcoin maximalists controlling the cryptocurrencies focused media platforms won't let that out. It has already outperformed bitcoin in all angles. When utilities is discussion Ethereum has that, the DeFi hype that trending for most part of the year has ethereum written all over it.

Ethereum also had its upgrade that was causing a buzz in the community seeing everyone anticipating it's launched. Excluding the halving of block rewards, bitcoin has no interesting event but since it has the first mover advantage on its side it'll still be the coin making the news with every little step it takes.

I think it's best to not put the two coins against themselves instead embrace them as you'll make more profit using that strategy. Both have huge potential, bitcoin will always be bitcoin, isn't getting overthrown anytime soon and Ethereum is improving yearly, very soon it'll be trading in four figures.

Well, I hope that you've got some accurate prediction from there. $20k-$22k for the end of the year is likely unless it wouldn't break that price and stayed for better on $19k.

That would be a good thread to look at how much accuracy you've got with all of those guesses you've made. Anyway, I would really want to see the end of this year will close bitcoin price higher than the ATH that it has made although it has broken its 2017 ATH already.

There is no hurry to break down the limit of 20k. It still has much time to do. In my opinion, there will be good at the end of the year because BTC now is in good form. And maybe it will continue far away if there is nothing unexpected. The year 2021 will also favorable for BTC.

While, that's the hope of every current bitcoin investors, let's not forget the story might go the other way which involves bitcoin dumping as a result of the resistance at $20,000k not been easy to break. We can already see bitcoin reacting negatively after it got rejected from that price. The success of 2021 totally relies on how successful 2020 would be. We might experience another year full of recovery if the price enda in a negative way this year.

Bitcoin will try again to break that resistance, the out come of that event will determine how the price of bitcoin will end this year. Just maybe we might dump again to lows of $16,000 if it get rejected again then strong panic steps in to push the price further down. Lets just hope that don't be the case.

The worst case scenario for bitcoin price later this year is not reaching the new ATH or not even reaching the previous ATH. That's not what people want at all. If this is the case, then I firmly believe that there are many support lines that will fail to withstand a dump in price so strong that bitcoin will be priced at less than $10.000. If so, then we will have 1-2 years for bitcoin to try to recover.

By the way, are you sure now that bitcoin has peaked and its price will down soon ?

Maybe you're right. But I’m still optimistic that Bitcoin can do more this year. Bitcoin has not yet crossed the previous ATH, so it is a frustration for crypto traders, but there is still time for Bitcoin to do much more. Because this time Bitcoin is coming so far based on some solid news so we can expect a new ATH. Maybe it will take some more time, that time we should wait patiently.

Up until this point of time that the end of this year 2020 is nearly approaching just only weeks from now, many people are still expecting and foreseeing that Bitcoin will reach $20,000 before this year closes its calendar shifting to the new year of 2021. Although this was already a close call for we only have few weeks just before it happens, optimistic minds are still looking forward and hoping that what they are expecting can still happen within this year. What will happen this year will also become a new start up and reflection of what will happen on the starting days and impression for the year 2021 so we must hope that good things will happen as we move forward on the upcoming days. Even if Bitcoin will not reach $20,000 before the year ends, still we must have high hopes that the price won't dump to have a good kick start and hope for the year 2021 unlike year 2017 wherein after attaining ATH the price drops and all have come into history before we have experience a great price hike this year.

It's half true though.
Ethereum "might" perform well if Ethereum 2.0 will work out just fine.
But that is still unsure.
Who knows if those who bought ETH had enough and just want to take the profits out.

Both of them are doing great and both have more than just doubled up this year after the Coronavirus; Ethereum moved from a very low price and now sits at $500+ and Bitcoin has been steady around $19000 and sometimes below that.

How did you know that there are so many retailers buying ETH more than they are buying Bitcoin? the good thing for eth is the  upgrade to 2.0  all that coin holders will be reduced when they stake their eth. correct me if im wrongwl with that , if your eth you need to lock it there before you can get your ethereum plus the profit annually you get from staking it for long. In this might be the reason why will the price of ETH will increase more because of reduce circulation of staking in ETH.

One thing that you should know bitcoin has achieved its all time high a few days ago since its price touch the all time low $3500 two years ago.

But, have you see ETH price touch its all time high $1500? it hasn't happened yet, it means bitcoin price movement is better than ETH price movement so far.

Indeed, ETH has a good fundamental factor especially they already updated their system and I believe as well that ETH price could have a good price movement in the future, but would that happen if bitcoin price was only a sideaway or decreased for correction?

I doubt that will happen easily bitcoin is always getting rejection around 19300 - 19700 range and it's very difficult to surpass it. I doubt if the big move will happen for bitcoin in the next days. I think that we will see the price of bitcoin will stabilize around 18k - 19k range to build another support.
There are lots of heavy orders in the bitcoin market. That will create a very strong wall to reject the bullish signal of bitcoin.

I think Bitcoin and Ethereum are very bullish, so I am very optimistic that later this year Bitcoin will pass the price of $ 20,000.
I don't agree whales did not accumulate Bitcoin this year, because there is no way whales would not be interested in the current
achievements of Bitcoin. Whales will continue to accumulate Bitcoin until 2021, so the price of Bitcoin will continue to rise until 2021.
As with Ethereum, the price will increase until the end of 2021, and in 2021 I hope that Ethereum can return to its all time high price.

Both bitcoin and ethereum has been bullish this year 2020 and I have hopes that hopefully bitcoin will reach $20k before the year end there is still almost 3 weeks before the year ends. With the recent pull back I hope the next attempt to break $20k will be successful, if not then I'm expecting bitcoin to be at around $17.5k-$18k in the start of 2021.
With Ethereum, with the launch of ethereum 2.0 I think that will help ethereum keep a steady phase to at least break $650-$700 mark.
