You will hardly find a newbie that are active in discussions unless that newbie is interested in learning about crypto and not for merits alone. You should know that some lower ranks are here only to earn merits for bounties. So, I suggest you should require them to send rh own post that yoi think is acceptable to earn merit.

Yes you can find some newbies who are really interested in cryptocurrency even though they are asking or wanted to learn you can give them merit as long as their post is not spam and is on topic you can give them a merit.

Sincere thanks for your advice.  I will definitely keep this in mind.  I will give merit to those who are active in the discussion group and those who help each other with information and advice.  I will definitely look at the last few posts of that newbie before giving merit.  And I will give merit to the best of those posts.

There is no point in hoarding sMerit; keeping it yourself does not benefit you, and we reserve the right to decay unused sMerit in the future.

Y = X/2 and Y is not shown if it is less than 1.

Please don't run your merit spree or farm it.

you should clarify if they need to post the link here. also, I suggest to include jr members or member rank but you don't have to if you don't want to. there are users in those lower ranks that are still new to bitcoin and are still learning and deserves merit too.

Thanks for your nice advice sir.  I want to give my merits to those newbies who want to involve themselves in the service of others.  And those who are interested in gaining knowledge about Bitcoin.  I will give merit to those who are giving enough time in discussion groups but are not getting merit.

Your decision really deserves praise.  Many more like you should do something for the newbies, who are not getting merit even from the active in the discussion group.  One of the examples in this case can be the OgNasty Sir, who is keeping the newbies alive with merit in many ways.

I really admire you for this thing, you are doing this thing even though you are still a newbie, Just be careful on giving the merits to our newbies, this is a merit giveaway for newbies came from a newbie as well, this is my first time seeing a newbie do this thing in this forum, there is no problem with that, as long as you are helping others in a good way then you are not violating any rules of the forum. You may also visit the profile of the newbie who will join this merit giveaway, many newbies here are just here for bounties, better to avoid giving them.

What a great concern showing from yours, I deeply appreciate it. Imagine, you're just a newbie but shows eagerness to be part of Merit System's implementation. Nice one !

But here's is my advance, instead of choosing from pile of applications posted here. Why don't you choose it for yourself. To minimize the range of population, start with the Local Board where you belongs first. And then when you get more merits along the way then try finding someone deserving outside. I appreciate this mentality of helping others. But I think it is not a time for you creating a merit giveaway topic. First build up your own profile. Then you will have more opportunities to help others.  You will find thousands of deserving posts for your three smerits. But finding three worthy newbie would be hard.

I don't know exactly what happened on here. OP just want giving away 3 his smerit to 3 newbies for their 3 post which OP thinks deserve to get merit, how can you tell OP what should he does with his own smerit? It's his smerit, he isn't not selling it or use it for any illegal activity, so where is the wrong part of OP?

Op -newbie- the lucky one though from your smerit give-out, but well you only got three, but you can look for more -newbies- or ranks above them, that made a post you think is to be awarded a merit and post there post here.
