That's when they take the money and run. That would be the ultimate scam. Give people a countdown and if they still have money there they lose.

Right that would be something bitcoin wouldn't recover from, at least in its current form. But hey it's a Nagle post after all... maybe we should put him and cypherdoc in one room and see what happens, that would be equally entertaining

I'd imagine there will be one or two more bounces till it is finally pulled out.

The announcement that mtgox is Satoshi?
There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men. The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Satoshi, who disappeared. He is not here; he has returned, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has returned and will speared Bitcoins to the end of the Earth.’ Now I have told you.”

That's when they take the money and run. That would be the ultimate scam. Give people a countdown and if they still have money there they lose. Imagine the shitstorm. The last time it happened (at least the off-line and frozen funds part of the equation), it was actually, and surpisingly, quite the snoozer. I had been planning to try to clean up if/when Mt. Gox cashed out, but have given up on that and come to the conclusion that they are strong and among 'th good guys' which is where they stand in my book at this time. Right that would be something bitcoin wouldn't recover from, at least in its current form. But hey it's a Nagle post after all... maybe we should put him and cypherdoc in one room and see what happens, that would be equally entertaining I had not seen that much from Nagle and certain of the other more vocal 'Bitcoin is finished' crowd. I figured they finally went ahead and did their buy-ins near the $2.00 range which left just a few of their ilk empty handed and howling for the $1.xx which may never come.

I highly doubt that, more likely they got bored of bitcoin in general.

Not sure if the countdown is finished but a new layout was just revealed. That I am assuming was the big countdown. There doesnt seem to be any functional difference.

I'm not digging it too much. I liked being able to see both order boxes at the same time. Takes forever to load too! Edit: I DO like the drop down chart though!
