Avalanche has launched a new coin [AVAX] and implemented a new consensus protocol, which was developed by a pseudonymous team called "Team Rocket" (as a counterpart to "Satoshi”, coming from Pokémon) and published in 2018. Prof. Emin Gün Sirer, Kevin Sekniqi and Ted Yin are planning a new platform that will implement this new protocol for the first time.

Mainnet was launched in September 2020 and Avalanche is adding more features frequently. Team and community are growing and hopefully we will see Avalanche delivering the next big step in crypto.


Community platform: Avalanche Hub

To build a community, Avalanche has launched a big community rewards platform, called Avalanche Hub. Avalanche aims to reach a large number of users to build an educated and committed community and of course to distribute some AVAX.
Even here, Avalanche has learned from previous projects where team’s and VC’s greed lead to launch debacles that have harmed many high-ranking, newly launched altcoins, such like XRP, Hedera Hashgraph, Algorand or xx-coin, just to name a few. Avalanche is different, distributing large parts of coins to a committed community to turn their idea into a successful coin.


Everyone can participate on the platform, many tasks are offered:

- Writing articles about Avalanche
- Recording videos about Avalanche
- Joining AVA Telegram group
- Different tasks on Twitter
- Infographic creation
- Sticker creation
- Translations to your local language (eligible languages: Chinese, Dutch, German, Filippino, French, Italian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Nigerian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Vietnamese), see here: How to apply for local tasks?

New tasks will be launched frequently but if you have done other work, you can submit it as activity in the Avalanche Hub.


How does it work?

For completing tasks you’ll get some “AVA hub points” which can be converted to AVAX at current market price:

1 AVA hub point = 0.01$ in AVAX

Unfortunately, Avalanche requires KYC but it’s divided into different levels:  

Level 1: name and address, enough to receive 250$ in AVAX
Level 2: ID and video verification, for more than 250$ in AVAX

You can also choose Amazon cards, no KYC required to get Amazon cards:

Yes, you can also create tutorials. Some are already available here but if you have any new ideas, you can always ask on Telegram (https://t.me/avahub_official), if you can write such tutorials.
And some of the existing tutorials can also be translated. Moderators on Telegram should have an overview which ones are still available.

I have some question here,
Is $250 the maximum rewards for member who doesn't complete KYC or something else?
For the translation, how many hub points will be awarded for translator per content?
Are you sure this project also need Indonesian translation, because on their blog posts is no Indonesian options.

I haven't tried it myself if 250$ is really exactly the amount where KYC Level 1 (name and address etc.) is enough. It *should* be 250$ but for now I've only paid out 75$.

Until a few weeks ago, the requirements were a bit different:

Level 1: name and address, enough to receive 75$ in AVAX
Level 2: ID and selfie verification, for more than 75$ in AVAX
Level 3: Personal documents (bank statement, bills etc.)
Level 4: Video verification

Recently, it was changed and now, it's only 2 Levels as stated in the OP.

For the translation, how many hub points will be awarded for translator per content?

It's different depending on the text and technical level. Feel free to ask in Telegram about rewards for your preferred text, which you want to translate. You could expect somewhat from 10$ (easy texts) up to 100$ (or even more) for technical guides.

Are you sure this project also need Indonesian translation, because on their blog posts is no Indonesian options.

Indonesian is eligible, I saw many people already writing translations.
I don't know how many texts are still available for Indonesian translations (in general, you can always use articles from official Medium) but on Telegram, the moderators should know. Recently, Avalanche did many announcements, which could be possibly translated to Indonesian, as an example. But I don't know official, before translation please always check back to a moderator on Telegram and ask for permisson to avoid confusions.

New articles / annoucement are written frequently by Avalanche on Medium and it's always useful for Avalanche to scale up local communities. Another idea could be to translate a simple explanation of Avalanche to your local board or explain it in your own words.

Look like this project interesting.

Yes, at least it's truly innovative and quite different from solutions which were already tried and failed by so many Altcoins. Like Bitcoin in the early days, it's very important for Avalanche now to solve possible vulnerabilities, like Bitcoin also did successfully.

YouTube videos are fine if it's high quality and informative about Avalanche. I would recommend to ask an official moderator on Telegram (https://t.me/avahub_official) and provide your YouTube channel (in PM or publicly) and tell them about what topics you are planning to discuss in your video. It's always better to ask an official moderator first until you put too much effort into your video and it doesn't return your expected amount of points.

It's old procedure, verification levels have changed and were reduced from 4 to 2. Now, only 2 levels are available:

Level 1: name and address, enough to receive 250$ in AVAX
Level 2: ID and video verification, for more than 250$ in AVAX

(I don't know if it's definitely 250$ or maybe sometimes more / less).

Because, it seems that this is one of the good content to make by now in youtube for us to earn like this.

Yes, rewards are very nice and people don't get a shitcoin. They get AVAX; it's a high quality coin.

They fixed this issue. The internal server error was only showing up for a few hours.
