Free Merit for Newbies

I am giving away merit to new users on BitcoinTalk. If you think one of your posts deserve merit, reply to this thread with some of your posts. Please do not apply more than 1 time on the thread!

In my opinion, having a thread about 'merit given' should be because of either you are a merit source, or you have many smerits to send. But your case is different, you have only received 10 merits in total, 6 merits received in last 120 days, you have used 2 smerits out of the 3 you are having, which means you have only 1 smerit left. Then, why did you create this topic? Thinking other members will award you merits?

Many users started merit giveaway thread and they receive some new merit just for that. I guess OP also expect some merits for his initiative here. but something is going wrong here.
Probably he is not counted that other threads are created by reputed members with enough merit for such a giveaway.

I think one of the reasons why you make a thread like this is that you notice that there are a lot of members right here giving away merit and some of them received merits too, I think its better if you hold your merits and trying to earn more.

This OP is either an eccentric or a liar.
Take a look at its distribution. He writes: I will give credit to beginners. Distributed. But to whom? The same person. And the posts are not the last freshness.

I'm sure that people have noticed that sometimes the merit giveaway thread OP is awarded with more merit just in order to take care of redistributing merit.
Also since the "coincidence" I think that he has other interest too (selling merit?, awarding his other account?).

All in all, I am with @examplens here, OP could easily get awarded for "most funny bulshit in the 2020 year" 
(Although I think that OP is also dangerously close to getting some more negative feedback.)

I think that merit giveaway threads should be restricted to one megathread like how we have the wall observer thread. They are useless topics for authors to hoard merit from in my opinion, and Beginners and Help is getting swamped with many of these threads lately.

Even better if signatures are disabled on that thread to stop signature campaign farming.
