This is a crazy idea why would FIFA allow a transgender man to join the female football category because his strength is still muscular by nature I don't know what law allows this but it's wrong.

Because somehow it wouldn't be political correct if they had to play on the man's team. Honestly I don't understand it either. This is unfair and shouldn't be allowed. Why not just make a separate trans league?

Because no one would join it and it would make no money. How much of the population is trans? 0.6% according to google in the U.S. 0.6% of the population who suffer from mental illness, 40% of which will have attempted suicide in the lives, and you expect them to make a sports league for them? Not possible. And who would bother watching? Do we have a viewer base that desperately wanna see woman with their balls hanging out kick a ball around?

in football(soccer) some people are still crying about letting black people be in the english league. purely based on the physiology that black people are fitter and stronger than white and it is seen by some as sacrilegious and against all englishness to let black people be the winners of a white race countries team

there is no longer any racial segregation of teams. and sooner or later there wont be gender segregation.
in the future there wont even be a male/female league. there will just be a league

most male league teams i see have for dacades had players with long hair crying how they injured their toe or scraped a knee.. for decades we have seen male teams 'cry like little girls' at the most minor thing
we have seen them be drama queens and get into slap fights..
so fifa. already allow 'girlish behaviour/tactics' in the male leagues

so once FIFA wake up. there will just be one league with both women and men on the same team.

so stop trying to regress back to segregation and instead progress into inclusion

It's a life and living thing. People do lots of things in life that don't work out. Many, many college kids get out of school, find out their chosen training doesn't have any jobs left for them to hire onto, and spend years paying off loans while working on a job that they don't like.

So, it's a choice each person has to make. Either accept what FIFA is doing, or work in the politics of FIFA to get it changed, or quit and maybe start your own organization that doesn't have the stuff in it you don't like.

It's life. It exists like this on almost every level, at least a little. Almost never can a person find something in life that is perfectly aligned to the way that he is and thinks.

I just read an article regarding the first transwoman joining the women football league in Argentina. even though I have nothing against trans people I have to say that isn't it unfair for a woman to fight against a former man especially on a physical sport? I have seen, hear and read the different stories of a trans athlete woman beating all the previous records achieved by a woman in woman category in sports. a transgender woman even became a woman of the year. is it a bigoted Idea to think that it is unfair allowing a trans woman to compete on women category of a sport?

It is unfair, and literally destroying the sports.

The only thing that makes trans the opposite of their previous sex is their sex organs which is not the reasons for the separation of men's and woman's sports. They are separated because of the biological difference in strength,agility,etc.

If this continues, the no. of viewers in woman's league will eventually fall lower than what they are right now. But I do think it will cause opposite effect if the woman-trans enter a male competition. That is a sight to be seen as we can see how they will get wrecked in contact sports. hehe

It's hard for me to view this sort of behavior as anything other than mental illness.  While I'll admit I'm not totally onboard with the trans thing by itself, when you add in competition and use it as an excuse to disrupt the level of fairness then I think it is downright wrong.  A lot of politicians have started to dabble in legislation to stop this sort of thing from happening in the future, but with the PC crowd desperate to push their everyone is the same agenda it is likely to be an uphill battle that will take some time...

Very very absurd. I don't know how we force ourselves to see something good in the imbalance of some situations. There is no how a wrong would make a right no matter how we try to justify it. The fact that your a man, no matter the surgery been done either on your body, brain or what ever, you'll always be a man. Having a trans gender future in a female competition is bringing in bias to the competition. Its more like bringing in a hybrid into a competition of pure breeds, the hybrid is always going to exhibit some form of superiority to the pure breeds.

Should this trans gender thing be allowed to continue, we would end up eradicating the female competition when the trans gender performs more better. We would end up having more and more trans genders in a team than usual.

as far as I know, besides tennis, there are several sports where men and women can compete together.

as far as I know, besides tennis, there are several sports where men and women can compete together.

Chess, and other non-contact sports. But not necessarily there will be no unfairness in sight. You may still see the unfairness but it is good cause like what I've commented before that it is a sight to see a transman competing with male in different kind of sports.

We would expect trans women to dominate women's sports if they are allowed to participate.
If the trans are proven to carry men's physical traits, they should compete in men's league, or better, create their own trans league.

Trans woman doesn't fit both in the men's team and the women team. If they play in women team , they will have more power than the women who are actually playing and it will be disadvantage for the other team. If they play in men's team, then they will not feel comfortable among men depending upon the sports.
We cant have separate tournaments for transgender because they are few in number and not all of them are in the sports.

But no, men and women will never play on the same team. There are completely anatomically different, it would not be fair to have women play in the same league. Look at mixed martial arts, you know why they do not have men and women fight each other? Because men have a higher testosterone level relative to women. I have a transgender friend with who I used to work closely (we were on the same team on the company I used to work for) and had a transgender classmate before and if you look at them you can see that they are happy with the choice they made. they haven't had the surgery(I mean medically removing their penis and replacing it with a vagina) but both of them do drink some kind of pills that affect their hormones(I think).
