I was so much curious about bitcoin some years back and end up scammed up my hard earned money which make me fearful and negative towards cryptocurrencies.

It much more okay if you are critical thinking and will be scammed in the future for those who are beginners in cryptocurrencies who are investing in ponzi scheme are really had bad experience in it. but look forward and move on we always learned our lesson from our mistake, And i am really glad that you are now a hodler and choose to invest in bitcoin currency, Just always analyze things when you are going to about risk your bitcoin or money when investing to not lose or got scammed.

If you just educate yourself for a few hours in scams in general and how they work and prey on your emotion then you can visit a few crypto scam sites so you know what to expect and what to look for.
It's just basic human common sense really. You need to ask many questions not just accept something you read. If someone is offering to pay you then you need to as how and why they benefit.
If you do this you should be fine.

In most cases the attitude in the very beginning changes after some good results or real positive examples. Personally my attitude to the crypto in whole was very ambiguous, it was hard to say that I believed in it at first glance, but after some deeper learning and communication with holders or traders I have found out the new world for myself. It was a real surprise that something like that exists. Nowadays I am engaged into crypto world and it is a part of my real life))

Majority of noobs that had invested out on HYIP or ponzi scams would really be having this kind of mindset or belief into their minds that Bitcoin is a scam without
even knowing the truth behind that Bitcoin is just a coin that had been used and it doesnt correlated nor connected into those scam programs that do exist on where
people believed that it can really make them rich in no time.If you are that sensible towards your investment or a little bit curious or interested with Bitcoin then
you will really find out the truth when you do tend to make some research.

Sorry about getting scammed , i think it's really common for most newbies get scammed during their first time in the crypto sphere if they aren't careful, since they are new they have little or no knowledge about how crypto, they can easily be fooled by hyip and ponzi schemes (bitcoin doubler)  , but it's really good to see that you finally saw the good side of bitcoin once more, and decided to be a full time supporter now.

I started this journey in 2017. I was reading and searching about crypto in this forum. I joined some airdrops and signature campaigns here. Even I translated whitepapers of some shit coins. Even some of them were very promising. I hodled them but they don't worth even 100 bucks now.

I am more experienced in trading and when to hold. What I believe is the truth is major crypto coins are gems. And bitcoin is the King. Of course there are some successful coins came up with new technologies but I was lazy to invest on them or search about their project. For 2 years I was not even active in this forum. But I am back again. I believe in Bitcoin and some coins.

I believe that blockchain is the future and cryptocurrencies will be accepted in near future...

I was there too. back when we didn't really care about the project, use cases, and not really realistic about it.
any project that mentioned "blockchain" or "decentralized" word would be easily to be funded and supported back then
now, "the class of 2017" become wiser (at least become realistic first), it's good that we can share that experience with new people who want to jump into this crypto universe.

oh, we have a "class of 2020" who were born during this DeFi era now.
You may have hear/read these terms, "DeFi Gems", "Uniswap Gems". or anything like that.
a hit and run project. most of sh*t DeFi projects benefiting this DeFi boom.
we saw unrealistic gains from those shi*t tokens.

I had some friends who also tried crypto back then but lost their money by investing in HYIP or Doubler and didn't try investing in crypto again.
I also experience being scammed by those HYIP and shitcoin but I never quit because I believe that crypto could give me financial freedom.

The more we had previous mistakes, the more we tend to learn. Sad that I have been scammed, too when I was a newbie in crypto industry. The fact that my trust in cryptocurrency went down after that experienced but realized afterwards that Bitcoin as a cryptocurrency is legit but I entrusted it to the wrong person.

Months and years has passed and now I am a strong btc believer and enthusiast which my past bad experienced taught me to become a good btc investor. We definitely are lucky to be part of this new technology that can be useful and beneficial to most of us.

Maybe he is disappointed with the crypto because of his bad experience before. We hope that people will be back to crypto again, especially if the crypto market can rise back like before. We can not do anything for them because that is their decision, but we can still explain that it is normal to get lost from the crypto, and all people will get that experience.

The HYIP scams many people, but some don't stop searching for other ways to make money. They still believe that it is about a matter of time before they can make money, and they don't want to stop before they can reach their goals.

It is always the mistakes that will help us to grow and to realize everything that we did from the start.

It takes a lot of courage, risks, and hard-work before you can recover from that losses and always remember that bitcoin is volatile and you can make profits or recover your losses depending on how updated you are.

I just don't want you to give up on bitcoin investments because you are not the one who suffer like that, just understand that investment is full of risks.

Many people first had different bad experiences with crypto in general, if it's not about hackers, it's about scammers and even shitcoins, but the most rampant I think is the case about shitcoins. During the 2017 bull run, many joined the crypto space and without much knowledge and information, invested heavily in many coins and learnt the hard lesson, which is, some team exited scam and some were just pump and dump, hence the reason in many people's wallets, you will see different shitcoins with no value, this changed a lot of people's mindset.
But however, those who later went for knowledge were then enlightened and they then come to the understanding that, there is no coin like Bitcoin hence believing in the crypto space again.
This is the reason why it's very important to first study the crypto space, know the right things before investing, most especially nowadays with that high rise of new projects.

That’s good. Most of us here had to experience one thing or the other when we started making use of Bitcoin.
I also had to experience the same kind of thing when I was still new to Bitcoin and didn’t understand how things work and ended up losing money to some dumb ass scammer, it pained me for months lol, till I got over it and decided to focus more and make better achievement instead of crying over the little money I lost. I almost quit Bitcoin completely because I stopped using it, I left completely until I was ready to use it again.

Many investors leave the market with losses due to HYIP and they cannot recover the amount of their losses later. The smartest thing to do is to leave the crypto platform and move forward by analyzing the crypto market and gaining experience on the sites of the exchange. Crypto's project will be risky no matter what. Success is possible only if you try to avoid risks and move forward. Even if the price of currencies goes down due to HYIP, it doesn't hurt much. If the amount of investment in Bitcoin increases, the market will return to its previous place.
