My company made a huge investment in adopting systems such as remote meeting places, cloud systems that help organizing documents and a way of eliminating paperwork... I believe that this is going to increase the productivity of the employees especially if those go back to work.

This is very common while in the short term people were unprepared to face the crisis over the long term this brings growth as people find ways to overcome the crisis with new knowledge and technology, one of those examples is the vaccine and the pharmaceutical industry, vaccines take years even decades to develop and even if it seems as if it has been ages this vaccine was developed in record time, so if this happen again the pharmaceutical industry will have already protocols in place to develop a vaccine even faster than it did this time around.

They have considered the situation of customers as well as the welfare of their employees by adopting the changes by switching from mostly physical through online transactions. Imagine running out of hospital beds in the richest, most technologically advanced nation in the world and still having a significant portion of people and politicians attempting to downplay the severity of the pandemic. Sometimes I'm sure that America doesn't deserve first-world status and it's because of things like this.

In this pandemic we must see the advantages and the things that must be improved.

Advantage:
1.- People no longer spend huge amounts of time commuting from home to work.
2.- The productivity of companies have grown.
3.- New ways of doing business have grown or will be created (the Internet is growing in demand).

Disadvantages
1.- People have longer hours of up to 12 hours or more per day. Mainly in underdeveloped countries and there are no clear work rules.
2.- Problems in homes due to coexistence that previously did not exist in the psychological field.
3.- Unemployment worldwide.

We can comment on other points, what is a reality is that this is here to stay and we will have to evolve and guide efforts to improve using current and new technologies.

What I am really excited about is the fact that remote work is seen as something totally doable right now, and that is something marvelous because if we can manage to keep people at their homes and work from there for many jobs in the world that can be like that, we could actually have a lot happier world as well, and probably less expense too, and less transportation.

These are all amazing advancements in the world that could make things a lot better. I don't know where you belongs to. In my country, the affected and died people are equally increasing gradually. Nowadays people can't maintain lockdown because of their daily needs. For economic purposes, government can't be strict more.

Instead of having a fixed desk now, we switched to a more mobile version, where everyone is sharing the desk. Since most people are working from home these days, we are only 1 day per week in the office and then switch around the desks.

That is happening in many companies and offices because they must follow the health protocols.
Maybe that is the only way we can do this pandemic, but I am sure that future situations will not be the same.
We need to follow the government's suggestion for our safety, and maybe there are benefits that we can get behind this.
But I think in some places, while they follow the health protocols, they can back to their office, but they still need to have distance between the other employees.

They are willing to create a system in which their workers would have a safe environment to work and be worry free of the ongoing pandemic. The problem is that while they adopted new methods but now as things are coming back to normal they are actually going back to the normal work module.  There are companies who are calling back their employees to work from office as they used to work from home, now they feel like added pressure and I am not against working from home or office but it tells us that the newly adopted methods were only temporary and the new approaches made were only forced instead of adopted.

The real change will come when these companies and the employees take initiative and bring these new work module in work without any condition or situation forcing them.
