Paytm selling mobile numbers

Ok, so I was checking out life/term insurance plans on paytm. That's it, I was just checking out plans.

And since that day, I started receiving insurance spam on my number.

Is this ok?

If you think that it is ok for you then what is the complaint  . I activated DND and hence i wont be getting any advertisement calls usually and if i get some i will block the number ASAP as it is a nuisance and it is better to contact their customer service and convey your grievance about selling your number to advertisers.

Were u searching to take  insurance policy or trying to pay existing one ?

i have existing one and search few times too not got any insurance spam calls
