I don't see the other coins like bitcoin and ethereum, so I suggest using bitcoin and ethereum to trade in these situations. If you check the market situations and conditions, bitcoin has a better movement than the altcoin, so I think you can try to trade bitcoin pair usdt. But you need to make sure that you can analyze the bitcoin movements.

But if you want to select the altcoin, I guess ethereum will be enough for you to trade. If you decide to trade 5 coins at the same time, you will feel hard to analyze because that will consume more time to find the best time to enter and exit the market.

Do you want to trade in futures or only spot trading?
If you are a spot trader I think there are some altcoins to trade with a long time frame such as a month. I love to hold or trade LINK, BNB, ETH, TOMO and VIDT.
But if you are talking for futures then BTC and ETH are fine for it. Yes, you can also trade all of them which I said for spot trading.

I don't always think that the top 5 best coins for regularly trade, because I like to see coins taking turns experiencing a positive uptrend alternately even less popular coins can potentially experience fantastic price increases, always use good analysis of coins which we will trade.

Less popular = most likely scam or shall we say no huge support from traders and other investors that's why its a gamble to go on this option since most of this coins are been manipulated by the dev, I'm sure you don't want to get scam by hit and run devs here right? so piece of suggestion better to change your perspective and select top coins when trading since this is more safer than any other else.

I think the best crypto would depend on your trading style. Like if you are onto long-term trading then Bitcoin could be the best among them all and if you are onto short-term trade then coins that have high volatility would be perfectly fit on that. In my case, I only trade 2-3 coins and I'm not getting more because the more coin you trade the more analysis you will make, those coins are specifically Bitcoin, Ethereum, and BNB. IMO, you don't need a lot of coins to trade just choose and focus on them.

In trading in cryptocurrency your top 5 and everybody top 5 will always be different because it the results from trading one coin may varies depending on each traders strategy. In the end of the day a top from other trader may not give you good result. It will all come down to personal preferences for me.
You should explore each coin in the market and analyze the graph and see if what will work for you.

analysis is the right way to be able to determine whether what we will choose is the best even though it might be different, but at least we can try to study the movement of the existing charts.
as my friend above said that the top 5 tokens can always change depending on the trader making a trade, but I might conclude that all traders will see the top 5 of the analysis at CMC and coingecko to determine further action. so that the top 5 rarely changes drastically and remains standard.

Nothing much you just have to go for any coin that you think it’s really good. If you’re going to be a day trader you’re going to be steady looking out for the good coins in the market and trading them to make profit. Unless you’re not really a day trader and what you just want to do is to buy and hold for long.

Even at that you will still have to do your research for coins that are more likely to bring you profit when you hold them for as long as you can. Bitcoin is one that hardly disappoints, but all can still go down , and you have to know when you should be buying, wrong timing is very bad. You can see those that bought at the last ATH are yet to see the price go any reasonable length. So it’s good to be careful.

I would say bitcoin, ethereum, bnb, litecoin, wave. These are my top five, not because they are better than any other, I mean if we you look at the rankings, there are better ones than these, sure bitcoin and ethereum is one and two but if you look bnb that is 10th, more coins that are higher, litecoin too, and certainly wave which is 30th right now.

So, my "best" understanding is just that I like these more than I like others, this is more what I enjoy and that will be what I will continue to believe for a while more. Nothing much you just have to go for any coin that you think it’s really good. If you’re going to be a day trader you’re going to be steady looking out for the good coins in the market and trading them to make profit. You wanna do regular trade and then go to the CMC or exchange sites and take some from all of the major coins to be used to did a daily trade. that's more than enough for you. you don't need to get a nomination for the best coin of something else.
A coin with a big daily trade volume is more than enough for you to make money regularly from the market. Bitcoin/eth/XRP or something else doesn't matter.
The important thing should be how skillful you are to make a daily profit from the market.

When we talk about best coin, I believe that first that will come to mind is probably, the likes of BTC, ETH, TRX, Bitconcash, BNB and etc.
This can never be know by mere the current price of those coin. Thinking the high value could be the determinant factors. I'd never search for those 5 coins but instead, I keep BTC as my choice. We don't need to have them all, in honest speaking. Simply having BTC will be enough for you to have a positive result (well that also depending on your work).

I suggest for you then to focus on one coin, you can choose one of the top leading coins in the market. Choose those coins that you think and feel would be the best. Work for it applied your knowledge and skill, everything will be fine.

To be good in trading yo must also consider the platform used as well as coin liquidity pool. So it would be an underestimation of the matter to simply try to trade based solely on the coin name. The factors highlighted make all the difference.

As per coins themselves, it all depends on the type of trader you want to be and strategy you want to implement but I'd go with a range of coins. Some in the low market cap range and some right at the top. As for the ones at the top I was thinking more like DOT and ADA, while for the low market cap ones more like Skale, or even JUST. Of course, these are only suggestions and you should do your own due diligence before buying into any of these.

After BTC and ETH I would like to suggest XRP for daily trade. If you have a good amount of money then you can start daily trade with XRP. 500$ is enough for daily trading with XRP. Though you can not make a good return, I think 5$ is easy to make a profit ( you can lose also). Last 10 days I tried to trade with XRP and an average of 5$ is my daily profit. I prefer BTC trade but Now I am exploring XRP for daily trading.

After BTC and ETH I would like to suggest XRP for daily trade. If you have a good amount of money then you can start daily trade with XRP. 500$ is enough for daily trading with XRP. You can never go wrong with btc and eth as they are already established in the market.
You can even do the intermittent trading to gain profit from their market.
XRP is also a good one to follow but need to be very careful on this one especially after the snapshot of Spark token.
Won't give the top 5 but it is best to stick your funds in the top alts.
