If you really want to trade then you need to have that minimum knowledge to choose which coin or token will be suitable for you to invest. It depends on your analysis. There is no goor or best thing here. If your strategy match with any one then go for it.

I can only suggest you to follow the Coinmarketcap ranking. It will help you to know which one is created hype in the current times. Then you can choose easily with matching your strategy and analysis.

There is no such thing as "best coin/token" for trading. It will completely depend on your trading style and what indicators you're using, and obviously it won't be the same for everyone.

I agree with it others could give you what they think is the best because it suits them but you have to find your own best crypto for trading.
And of course it wouldn't always be like how it used to be the market would change and you would need to find another batch of crypto to trade.
So we should learn to trade with our own knowledge and experience and learn to pick our own choice.

Every day btc price increase or decrease. If you want to trade your btc keep it some exchange for buying and selling. Btc price can be change in a day 10℅. So it is risky for you.  

Today xrp pump 107x. I think xrp is best for invest 2020. Other you only buy btc if you don't interest to trade.

Besides, I have nothing positive to say about a member who hasn't earned even a single merit since the implementation of the merit system. Just another signature spammer as far as I am concerned.

but I partially agree with you but the most important of the existing coins is bitcoin and ethereum, because they are both now kings and queens of crypto coins.

It’s completely on you to choose what coins you will like to Trade.
Moreover one more suggestion i can give you that, don’t fall for tokens. Most of the times they turn out to be scam.
And coming to choosing the coins, choose the less volatile coins as this will help you to prevent you from facing serious losses.

You can't actually name top 5 coins or tokens depending on any data as your own, if it is already at top 5 without your input thats already top 5, there is nothing really that shocking here.

If I came here and said "top 5 coins are bitcoin, ethereum, xrp, usdt and litecoin" that would be a bit weird, those ARE the top 5 coins anyway and it doesn't contribute anything to the discussion at all. That is why I prefer people who share coins that are not in top 10 but not out of top 100, because if it is out of top 100 that is usually not great neither. I get that picking a coin from 600th or whatever place makes sense if you want to make a lot more profit a lot quicker, but I do not see them as a long term investment, most of the time they are a short term gain moves.

If you look at coinmarketcup maybe there you can find that ranking. It is based on the accumulated Market Capitalization and trading volume on almost all exchanges. But there may be different opinions, not just trading volume. Additionally you have to observe how actively the developers find new ideas for coins, how big or small the community is, and how coins are used. That's just a small part of the research you have to do if you really want to find out the best coins or tokens.

I agree with you but and when choosing people should focus on the coins that have some upcoming news in near future. Me personally I have looked at Cardano for next years. They have some news incoming.

Of course people have their own preferred coins or tokens, that will always be the case when you ask in a place where there are tons of people, nobody could say that people will trade only on the top 5 or top 10, they will definitely trade in multiple stuff, otherwise we wouldn't have coins that have any volume outside of top projects.

However it is obvious that highest volume ones are also the highest used ones as well, nobody can deny the fact that bitcoin is the most traded one for example, which means it is top on the list of almost everyone, at least big enough that it became number one. This is why you could assume that all coins have some traders, people do prefer them as their top pair to trade, however the lower you go in ratings the lower there will be of them.
