I wonder the basis of your predictions, for it to be top 3 on market cap within a year.
When I read all these, I will just be wondering the fate of those who follows these predictions only to be disappointed at the end. If an upcoming project is good and have the potential to beat whatever existing projects, it is the duty of the team to make it happen through constant Improvements and so on, and these Improvements will be visible to all and sundry. Come to think of it, Ethereum has been there for a very long time, and even till date more projects are still eager to leverage its blockchain not only that, the team are also on top of their game through bringing more upgrades to the blockchain, hence with these and many more, I don't actually think another will beat it.
Lastly, there have been many projects tagged Ethereum killer but instead, they are no where to be found; let the team continue their development so that they can last long term like others but for beating Ethereum, it will be difficult for them.

And I don't think it will kill Eth by any means.
Remember, same with the situation where a lot of crypto projects aimed to kill bitcoin, but where are they now?
They have cutting-edge technology, they even have comparison table showing their excellent features over btc, and yet, they couldn't match the popularity of usage of btc.
So nope, a year from now, let's revisit if DOT achieved at least half of the popularity of ETH platform.

Well said. With all respect for your thoughts I strongly believe that " The best system  should Win". ETH is not more useful than BTC because some sneaky wheeling and dealing made it so. It's more useful because its features are set to create smart contracts. If a new Network comes out tomorrow that solves major Ethereum issues before ETH does it then it should beat out Ethereum.

Polka dot is building a  Blockchain Business. It will be fast, performant and profitable for all parties involved. Its current price around $5 is also very attractive from investment perspective as potentially it can easily go from 2 to 5X when Alts market starts rallying.

Well said. We don’t chase the news every day. We don’t constantly move money around between bank accounts, trying to get a percentage point of profit. We’ve got more important things to do.
Ultimately, we move our money to where it can do the most good. When we approach investing in this way, we should move our money where it gets best returns. Polka Dot is the project where we should move money and park it there for long term Huge gains.

I don't think that this coin has capacity and ability to Kill ethereum ,because we can see how this moves for a couple of months and now goes down back to rank number 9.
Ethereum is a established and well trusted platform and even they lose the momentum after the failure of ICO yet there are many projects that using their platform .

So this is not enough to make ethereum died just like that and besides polkadot need to prove their legitimacy first and to be trusted by investors and project developer here in crypto market.

For the past few weeks I started to research about Polkadot.
I will not say that it is the Ethereum killer, I rather say Ethereum will say, Polkadot too. What the founder said before on Polkadot goal is some of the Ethereum can't or difficult to achieve, just like the proof-of-stake feature.
Honestly what I am looking forward on Polkadot is for long term. More years, I hold some of Polkadot.

no doubt polkadot is an amazing project but in other for it to be able to take ether's place polkadot has to really work hard and have enough project using the blockchain just like eth is been used plus all other features eth is offering,
90% of new project are using eth blockchain there is a reason for that.

it's not true at all. There would be a lot of projects have joined in the dot ecosystem but this time it's different dude. There are so many new projects still using ethereum for their tokneization.
It's not so hyped like it was being introduced to the public. There are so many parties said that it's quite difficult to use polka.

Well said. Without going into much Technical details, Polka dot is very young altcoin and was listed on Binance exchange few months back , In this very short period the value of DOT has soared more than 100%. What is more fascinating about Polka dot that Trading volume has grown exponentially.

As a rule, projects that rise quickly and their tokens quickly grow in value also quickly then fall.  Therefore, such statements should not be taken seriously.  Even if this project turns out to be successful, it will not threaten the ethereum network with anything serious yet.  Good competition is always an incentive for growth and development.
