Is Polkadot going to Kill Ethereum?

For me the true investment is the projects that help Polkadot achieve success.
I invested in $PCX they are providing the bridge between Etherium, BTC, KSM etc ... with Polkadot.

This is what is needed we need to combine the projects and make the good ones better using the new ones.

That is why I am a true believer of PCX.

I think that the altcoin this year has changed in nature, the suitability and adaptability to new needs create a special, interesting and unexpected trend.  DOT is a coin in the trend and great attraction in the past.  I think the competition in this year's altcoin season will be fierce.  Any stumble similar to XRP will become a dual trend, and will be displaced from both its position and its user base.  DOT has the potential to increase capitalization if it continues to focus on product development and expertise for the Multi-chain improvement roadmap, which is a distinctive feature of DOT's branding. It shows that DOT has risen to become a competitor capable of surpassing ETH in the future.

Polkadot is indeed a new project that we can rely on for the foreseeable future, and I am very confident that polkadot will rival the top crypto value in the future, we hope to rival ethreum and it will not be impossible to take an ethreum position although this is very difficult because some days the value of ethreum is again increasing, for now we have to invest in polkadot because this project has high potential.

I do agree that polkadot itself can't succeed without any help. Ethereum is not the second ranked coin because it is great itself, it is ranked second because there are thousands of other coins that is tied to ethereum chain, look at metamask and you will see a thousand different coins all tied to erc20 and that is the reason why ethereum became so big, even defi ones are tied to ethereum as well.

So long story short if polkadot wants to be huge, it needs to have a lot of other projects built on top of it, no coin can surpass ethereum all by itself without any usecase or reason to buy it, people need a reason to buy a coin and if you do not provide them enough reasons it will just become "buy it now so you can sell when it goes up" and that is not enough reason to make something become huge. New things that are being built on top of it will show how good it will be.

I don't think so ethereum will beat by the Polkadot because for me ether is more potential to this coin but polkadot is a new coin but also potential but it need to prove more before it's more potential to ethereum because ether is already prove that it is very promising coin that the price have good future or the price will going to high in the next few years.

lately Polkadot has indeed shown very good development and is able to be in the top 10 altcoins even some time ago it had shifted XRP but now XRP has succeeded in taking over it again, for me personally until whenever ethereum is the best and nothing can replace its position, so polkadot are not a threat to ethereum

We really can't predict anything these days because the market is purely diplomatic DEFI projects are booming and price are unbelievable if we have a look on polkadot and ETH definitely polka is clearly the game Changer this time.

I was expecting like ETH may go to 5k this time because when compared to BTC but unfortunately it was not upto the mark as it was following its footsteps still I hope it will make a comeback anytime.

Polkadot is the highest gainer coin in the recent time and jumped top 10 coin as well that makes the HOLDers proud. Polkadot has great tech and team. Polkadot development is on right track, so DOT might get up to 50 USD soon or even more in the near future.

You can call out investors all you want but thinking about beating Ethereum is a joke if that's the main reason on why Polkadot is established, Ethereum has worked its way to the top, also for other coins, Polka has reached that price already, that's honestly not bad, but I'll be waiting in the next few months and see if they'd be consistent or a one hit wonder, I'm not against Polkadot, I'm just saying not to overhype it that much, it's still too early.

I agree with you. I don’t get why one framework should kill the other. These projects are all emerging solutions geared towards making the exchange of digital information secure and efficient. Each have their own contribution and whatever weakness is discovered on one framework, another framework will attempt to solve. They’re all working in the same space and whatever innovation one comes up with, another will try to improve. I think that’s healthy for this dynamic space.

when it comes to the tokens, they’re all speculative tools. What drives demand for a certain token? Coin features, a good press release (hype), use case, drama (lol), a famous person’s recommendation, community support, etc.

So let’s forget about killing and just support those projects that have significant contributions in crypto space.

Achieving that is a very difficult goal to achieve, it is true that Polkadot is one of the Ethereum killers,
but not only Polkadot can kill Ethereum, many other candidates such as Waves, Qtum and also Tron. Look, to be honest I'm not a fan of Ethereum,
but if you look at the existing ecosystem, Ethereum is one of the best altcoin projects so far, yes, I'm sure Ethereum will always stay in second place.

I think it is more possible for polkadot and eth to be compared. polkadot offers blockchain system as well same as eth, few projects are switching to polka for faster transaction and less fees, and yes it is possible to surpass eth with polkadot. but it will takes some time, it will not go easily but if they want to become number two coin they need to provide good quality services and they need to provide news that can elevate their number of users and investors.

Well, you are right that lots of project comes in Polkadot blockchain network. And also polka dot generate a huge amount of market cap volume. But that's not enough to compete with a project like ethereum. Firstly you have to understand that if polkadot network choose lots of project then othersite lots of project also choose ethereum network. So here is a huge competition and you choose a moutain hill type competitor like ethereum which is world 2nd largest market cap volume generated project and people's 2bd choice and trusted crypto project. So it us nit easy. But in this place we can say both are best from their own place. I hope you must be satisfied with my replied.

That might be the actual scenario to happened after that certain point in terms of value, Polkadot is gaining but also Eth doing the same and with lots of supporters and investors who continue to value this coin, it's still far from being replaced as the 2nd top project inside this market,.
