But the above thread of lovesmayfamilis is not updated anymore. But if the OP wants to see other potential scam projects, he can just read some allegations in the scam accusations board and assess for himself whether to invest or not in those mentioned projects-

There are a lot. All those ponzi schemes have been here for a very long time. Haven't heard of this Smartway Forsage ponzi scheme. How does a decentralized ponzi scheme actually works? Since its decentralized who takes all those profits during the exit?
Anyways, in case you doubt any service that might be a scam, just google "[what you think is a scam] scam bitcointalk" and you will be able to see if people are suspecting them or not. If you can't find anything, just open a thread over here and ask for peoples opinion.

Yes, unfortunately there are still a lot of ponzi based crypto scams active in the market. Most of them are ethereum based but recently there has been a surge in tron based projects as well perhaps because it is cheaper and transaction cost is also low. Untill everyone completely boycotts these obvious ponzis, they will keep popping up.

Those people that I know who invested in Forsage and didn't listened to advice that they should stay away from it, I've never heard anything from them anymore. It's obvious that scam totally gone an exit and they can no longer retrieve their funds.

To have a glimpse of the newest scams, the source in the forum through Scam Accusations is also a good source. You'll see threads there that have copied whitepapers. As for the bigger or biggest ones, hard to find it out unless they go vulgar but with those little things that you can notice as a sign of scam is enough to say that they're scam, small or big.

We cannot call them crypto scams rather titling them as ponzi scams is enough because there are many types of ponzi schemes both crypto and non crypto based and unfortunately this ponzi sector is so huge that it likes a big industry, these ponzi schemes have a long background and history so i do not think they can be differentiated as they have separate kind of fans, supporters and investors.

There are so many different ponzi scheme scattered to attract investors and believers, we need to be careful. If you want to invest you need to be careful and do more research about the project. Mostly Ponzi scheme are all scam. There are some ponzi scheme that is good at first but still exit in scam, so better to avoid this kind of investment and focus on bitcoin and other potential cryptocurrency.

Decentralized scam projects are big this year after DeFi became a success in crypto space, if you are looking for the biggest scam projects of 2020 they are decentralized Finance projects, I'm been very careful around them and I've never fell for one, if you can take your time to search around in scam accusation thread on this forum you will see enough

The DOW is going to track the top cryptos in 2021. Hopefully they will vet these projects to exclude scams and use metrics other than marketcap to value them. https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/sp-dow-jones-indices-to-launch-crypto-indexes-in-2021-2020-12-03

You will still be able to invest in cryptos outside the list but you have a higher risk/reward ratio and there may be scams.

There are still very many crypto scams that are active and circulating on internet advertisements and also on several websites. I don't think there's a way to stop the scammers in the crypto world. The only thing we can do is research it first and will not join in.

There are still a lot of ambiguities in blockchain technology: it is difficult to understand, it is unregulated. Everyone understands this, including scammers, hackers, and thieves. They do not get tired of developing complex schemes to deceive even experienced investors. It seems to me that only a global study of the project can give some idea of its integrity.

He's probably just looking for tips, as all these scams look very good to a layman, and he's hoping some of them are legit.

Yes for those wondering I am doing some research Smiley Thanks for all the tips!

Smartway forsage is still going strong. As you can see here https://ethgasstation.info, they are the 3rd most used app on Ethereum right now by network usage. Very dangerous.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of crypto scams active in the market. There is no way to stop them forever. But If anybody wants to join in this market, I'll recommend to research it first then join. It can help you make decisions and reduce risk and make your profit on it.

Ponzi schemes have always been a powerful weapon for scammers to make a profit and usually the targets of scammers are people who are too hasty in following an investment project so that without thinking they will spend money on the project, now they are greedy to get Large profits and fast becoming one of the things offered by fraudulent investment projects that do have ponzi schemes.

Talking of ponzis i just received an invitation today to invest in tron based ponzi which looked more like a matrix or multi level marketing which is poor model and only project owners or the early entrants make some money while late comers are almost guaranteed to lose.

they are alot of them 'crypto scam' beyond what you can think, even though everybody start list them all cannot be mentioned, so what i think is that one should be very careful in any project one feel like venturing into, and consider all necessary things teams, white paper, roadmap and the likes, and slow to take decision in other to take proper one.
