Paying on Alibaba.com with Bitcoin??

Hi guys, I am starting a new business in my country. For that, I am sourcing my products from Alibaba Suppliers. But I want to pay with bitcoin as my most of the money is in bitcoin or crypto. I don't have very much amount on my bank.

So, can you tell me how can I use my bitcoin or crypto to pay in Alibaba. any body used any technic in past? Any virtual card option?

Do they allow small orders or there is a minimum? Because I'm not sure about Alibaba but I know that these cards[1][2] work fine on AliExpress. I used them multiple times. And if you need a larger denomination, I suggest you write to them, they might be able to get you 250-500 USD cards.

I personally haven't got any serious problems with the cards before, but I would still suggest checking these reviews first (Coinsbee's card supplier)[3].

It's hard to suggest other solutions when we don't know where are you from, but maybe you could check GetSpendl or order a Paysera card (if you know someone with a European address).

Thanks for all those details. But what I can see Coinsbee taking a 10% fee for Visa and Master cards. Which is a very large amount for a small business.  Also, their service provider's review is horrible on Trustpilot.
But I appreciate your help. Hope will get a way.

What payment method Alibaba accepts exactly? Is their any electronic payment system like paypal or else? If so, you can convert your BTC in that system and pay with them. Or, find out someone from the forum who want to purchase BTC with cards and ask them to pay for you whole you will send them BTC.

Surprisingly Alibaba doesn't accept PayPal officially. But you can make a deal via PayPal directly with the seller. But it's quite risky since Alibaba isn't responsible for that deal. So, if the seller isn't trusted, then better to avoid dealing with PayPal. On the other hand, PayPal should usable from OP's jurisdiction.

@ OP you may take a look on How to Pay Suppliers on Alibaba: A Complete Guide. Perhaps better to buy a virtual card with Bitcoin, but you will have to pay extra fees for that. I am not sure, but you may take a look at Alipay if there is any easy option to lead balance.

Can you provide products you are outsourcing from Alibaba, if it is possible of course? One my friends works in Alibaba as sales manager - may be he can help directly. You won't have to worry about trust as upon asking, he will also be providing you Alibaba's employee card or something you can trust on.

No one has proposed this solution: and yet there is a simple one. Why not buy a debit card that you can top up with cryptos? It will only cost you 10 bucks and you will be able to use this card for 3 years. Cheap and easy solution. It's a safe way to pay without going through intermediaries. There are a dozen cards like Coinbase, Bitwala, etc...

Otherwise, you can make use of Western Union. So sell your BTC for WU and buy on Alibaba with WU
BTC=>WU WU=>Alibaba

According to this page[1], Alibaba accepts payments through WebMoney as well. If that's the case, then you can take a look at these sites[2]. If the fees are too high for you, try to check Paxful, LBC, or the forums. I'm sure you will find better rates.

I already tried this way but the only problem I live in a very crypto restricted country. So all those crypto debit cards are not available for me. They doesn’t accept my kyc documents. Those who accepts are taking too much fee which I can’t bear. Thanks

Honestly you will get a hard time for this option and if you find you need to go to a third party option provider before you can pay bitcoins on alibaba but to make all at ease just try to look for best alternative and cashout your bitcoins in exchange with fiat then you can use your Master card to pay the merchant so best to go with less hassle option to avoid stress.

Why people like stressing themselves so hard for nothing, why don't you just make payment with the accepted currency if you are really serious to buy from Alibabab, what difference does it make if you buy with btc or fiat, after buying with fiat you can always sell with crypto.

It's easy to say but in reality, it's not easy to transfer 1000$ in my fiat currency than transferring it on the bank card to pay in a crypto restricted country. As you can see I wrote I don't have much amount in my bank, my maximum savings are on crypto.

Actually AliExpress doesn't support PayPal for all sellers and all countries. The seller has to have this payment method activated and the list of countries is short.
Since I do buy things from AliExpress now and then I was rather surprised by your "guess". I've looked into their support page it tells it clearly:

Paypal can only be used when seller has activated Paypal account for his/her store, and, meanwhile, the order will be shipped to below countries（in alphabetical order):
French, Germany, Italy, Israel, Netherland, Norway, Portugal, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Saudi Arabia, United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emiratesd

I've also found on internet a story about a conflict between AliExpress and PayPal from many years ago, which is the possible cause for PayPal not being widely accepted on AliExpress. I don't know how legit it is, but here's the link.
Since I think that Alibaba and AliExpress have the same ownership (basically more or less the same company) I think that this means that PayPal is out of question for both.


So Bitcoin VISA/Mastercard prepaid/debit cards are still the way to go for OP.
