Usefulness of Football Clubs Fan Token in the Soccer industry

Over a period of time, I have come across different Fan token representing a specific football club or something, I don't know if these tokens have been useful in our everyday life or just a token created for trading on chiliz exchange only. According to the development team they said.

My questions are;

• Is there any user here who had successfully used the Fan token with their clubs.
• If yes, have you decided what your favorite club should do or not, or partaking in your club voting poll in each season maybe regarding market transfer period.

Those tokens haven't been made to allow owners to decide what the club should or shouldn't do and even less what player it must buy or sell, it would be very dangerous, it means opponents could decide what the club will do by just buying those tokens.
In fact owners are only questioned about trivial things like musics in the stadium, jerseys,etc

Most of these clubs are using these tokens to :
Engage more people and raise more funds
These tokens might promise a lot of things but when it comes to it I do not think they would go that far as to engage people in the decision making, this could mean that these players might hold the key to influence the market negatively and cause problems. I did see a lot of posts about the tokens but I did not indulge in one. I do believe this is just a new marketing strategy.
The only thing that is worth it would be : the rewards that one player might get , I read in a website that they might even get to meet their favourite players.
But overall it's : positive since they are causing more engagement
But at the same time don't believe everything they say , it at most is half true and that is I believe enough enjoyment for some fans , so if you are a high better you should look into the reward system , undoubtedly.

I have found no club token useful so far, and never bought any neither, my favorite teams have their own token as well yet I have never bought any of that neither, I think they are just there for raising some capital for the teams and nothing more, they want more and more money to get more players.

However I know that even if I am the wealthiest person in the world and let's say I donate 10 billion dollars to my favorite club today, even in that situation they will probably pay all the debt they have, and make more debt in few years, in a decade they will be back to where it is today. Sports clubs rarely make any profit, usually they are not a good business if your whole reason to invest was profiting, which means they are not really worthy of my money neither.

I don't know if this was the first time Binance will list a fan base tokens and launch it into their pool but somehow what I see on the Innovation trade zone the tokens seems to go down base on my observation. I know that these fan tokens could be able to purchase some merch on the respective team it is designed for but I think that's it all that revolves in it just like what avikz stated above. I wouldn't be surprised if in the near future where cryptocurrencies are mainstream or more adopted we will see even more the same kind of tokens.

So basically this is Patreon but isn't exclusive and does not have a Discord server. I do not get why they have to get tokens to take part in the club, if you are a fan of the FC then you are already part of it, anything excess seems ridiculous to me, I might be wrong on that notion as I am not that fond of being a fan of any FC's or other sports team. Pretty good strategy for FC's management to milk their supporters, letting them believe that they have a say with the inner workings of the FC is such a good move.

In my opinion, these make no sense as a paid token. The only point I can see is by giving out a fan token as an incentive, e.g. when buying a ticket or a fan article. If you have collected enough tokens you can later exchange the tokens for prizes, e.g. for events with his favorite player or even a personal meeting with a player. Or you get ticket upgrades etc.

Well I do think if they want to do that then they have to understand for a fact that :
These tokens need a lot of time and acceptance from the governmental bodies too and they would have to make people engage in it in a better way. But what I read was , they want to engage fans, reshape their favourite clubs and then then get some funds , raise some money and provide a lot of other side activities , which means that they are not so adamant on making the gambling their priority.
But right now it's just owned by some people who are regulars and maybe just want to support their fan clubs. I think instead of listing them there they can just provide a page on the main site where fans can go and buy it since they are for sure more well known. If fans are not buying them from their site I don't think the listing will be much popular on binance.
People have to understand that , these tokens are not cryptocurrencies ** so they don't have to follow the suit of them.

I wonder how the token owners will be able to influence club decisions. What kind of decisions will they influence, by the way? How exactly does that happen and what is the minimum amount of token required to be able to do this? Influencing the decisions of clubs that want to achieve real success will require lots of goods ideas and skills.

I can think of it as each club or team has its own token and its value increases / decreases with the performance of the team. This is just like we have shares of the company and they increase/decrease based upon company performance.

For the very best of my understanding most of these club tokens aren't made public but with some exception, my club token BAR was sold out in less than two hours, i bought this token but haven't experimented with it yet, so, i have not successfully use BAR token for decision making. Basically, these tokens won't make any sense becasue of the possibility of some whales having control over total supply to influence the entire decision of a club.

IMO, the best "blockchain thing" that could be applied to football is NFT. We could have digital football player cards, special licenses, certificates with this NFT application.
for the use case example, all teams can issue their football card players. you can imagine FIFA FUT card but issued by each team.
then, we could have a global platform for all these cards from all the team. it could be used for football fantasy manager, card trading, etc.

 If something like this exist then I am sure that it has it's own unique way for usage like voting and claiming for rewards but I have't heard also that someone has shared that they were able to successfully use their club fan token.

There are many clubs that were in partnerships with socios so I am sure that they are getting something from that kind of partnership as it will not grow that many if they are not getting something that are favoring to them.
