Yesterday 10 years ago, Satoshi made his last post and today was his last visit to this site 10 years ago. So many rumors go that Satoshi still visits this community and other cryptocurrency communities. A user on Twitter also commented that the best thing Satoshi did wasn't to invent bitcoin but moving away afterwards.

Several different opinions were issued, because Sathosi is still a mystery. Some people claim he is, but there is no evidence. Regarding him leaving and regretting after finding bitcoin, I think he was wrong. Maybe we should ask Gavin Andresen as his replacement and give him access to the Bitcoin SourceForge project and a copy of the password. Whatever the reason he disappeared, I think it's a revolutionary idea for the future. Even though some countries are against it, I think it's only a matter of time.

After 10 years have passed, does anyone here want Satoshi to come back to the surface?

Satoshi has a balance of nearly 1 million BTC, let's guess what will happen if the wallet can be accessed by someone, whether it's the owner or maybe a hacker. Will the price of Bitcoin start to crumble and start not selling?

We all want what's best for Bitcoin, but nothing can make drastic changes to reduce transaction speeds or lower transaction fees.

If it's hacker he will sell it ASAP and it will make Bitcoin price has major dump, because 1 million BTC and FUD will affect Bitcoin price a lot.

There's existing thread here 10 years ago Satoshi made his last post I suggest to lock your topic.

If it's the case that a "hacker" manages to gain access and if the hacker does dump it, sure. But that's a huge "if". We're talking about a person or group that has managed to stay anonymous for a decade here. You'd assume that he/she/they know how to secure the coins.

There are a lot of possibilities, satoshi could've forgotten about that 1 million bitcoin and never bothered to find it, that seems ridiculous but that can still happen. We will never know because we do not know who is behind the curtains of the account satoshi. Best thing we could do is honor satoshi's wish to be anonymous and cherish the brainchild that is bitcoin.

Extraordinarily too ridiculous to forget an invention that's been getting a lot of attention lately don't you think? A lot likely for Satoshi to be either dead or simply refusing to touch the funds for whatever reason.

Good reminiscing mate and yes i think that man in twitter is right, that leaving the Bitcoin alone to survive is the best factor why this become more controversial and attractive.

and maybe this is His really intention who knows?

But it's nice seeing old and  last post of Satoshi though i have read for how many times yet always having this emotional feeling.

More energy should be channeled in making these bitcoin community great instead of concentrating in someone that has choose to be completely anonymous. Of what use wil it be us if we keep and searching for Satoshi and he is not willing to show up because of reasons best known to him.

I don’t even know if Satoshi is a person or company but whatever ever form it’s existed I’m sure it’s a mystery and shouldn’t be bothered about. In all we should always be grateful to Satoshi for this technology.

First of all no one knows how much bitcoin Satoshi really has, all these numbers are pure guesses that different people have made and are far off the mark.
Secondly if you read the links you can realize that it is not a single wallet or a single address (or even a handful of addresses) that contains that much which people could say "that is Satoshi's wallet". The 1 million balance is the total sum of tens of thousands of addresses that people guess belong to Satoshi containing block reward from early blocks.
Finally lots of coins from early days have already moved and are moving and will move in the future, none of them have ever affected bitcoin price apart from a handful of newbies panic selling.

Satoshi nakamoto is still a mystery until now and his/her/them will be forever be an anonymous  from the public eye and the success of bitcoin we owe it to Satoshi as well as all the credits. Bitcoin is already a house-name in crypto world and thanks to Satoshi for inventing Bitcoin as one of the greatest creation of human kind.

It's very dangerous, but where is satoshi now? Don't we have to thank him for designing bitcoin? even if satoshi returns I don't think he's likely to sell his entire assets directly. and if satosi reappears it's a natural thing if he sells bitcoin assets because he's the real owner of this amazing idea.

There are people who are really toxic when it comes to claiming that they already found Satoshi in the internet.

Hey, don't mind the real identity of bitcoin right now, it doesn't really matter anymore and we should focus on making it popular and achieve the mainstream so that bitcoin community will also grow. We are also not informed if Satoshi is a group of people or it is only a single person.

Nothing's certain, we are unsure about the information that we are seeing in the social media so we should not prioritize that but focus on our assets.

Satoshi has a balance of nearly 1 million BTC, let's guess what will happen if the wallet can be accessed by someone, whether it's the owner or maybe a hacker. Will the price of Bitcoin start to crumble and start not selling?
If it's hacker he will sell it ASAP and it will make Bitcoin price has major dump, because 1 million BTC and FUD will affect Bitcoin price a lot.

Well. If it is a hacker, BTC would go to zero. If a hacker can crack ~20000 addresses, that would mean that bitcoin has a serious weakness, and the same hacker could crack almost any address he wants.

But if it would be Satoshi, or a hacker that stole the keys from Satoshi, then that would just be a temporary "glitch" in the price of BTC

If he is alive today I don't know if he is tempted to log in or create another another account and tell us his thoughts about Bitcoin achievement what he thinks of the achievement and what his works has gone through and if he additional input in his works, that will generate interest, but I guess we are better than if he is around, I don't know the scenario if he is still around.

If a hacker gets a hold into this fud news will flood the bitcoin world and surely with that most people will start selling bitcoin. Not totally crumble I guess maybe a major dump would happen if this where to happen but its most unlikely to happen because its been almost a decade and still hackers can't get a hold of that wallet address.

It is indeed possible but I think he will never forget that he holds that amount of bitcoin in a wallet. If I where Satoshi and created something really valuable like bitcoin there is no way on earth that I will forgot about my holdings.

Why other people are looking for the past of the satoshi? He wants a private life and for sure in the first place if he want to reveal his Identity to the public he can do own his own.

Be thankful that he created this forum because of this we are communicating to each other about sharing our knowledge to everyone and guiding everyone who needs help once you are here in the forum you are more safe than the others.
