Archived: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5295777.0

All single line spam posts from brand new or newbies which are created recently just for this pump a thread purpose obviously.

I've reported the thread as well.

The one upside to this is that Bump services on that board will do nothing to keep it visible. theymos implemented a bump feature, visible in the top right along with reply and whatnot. Apart from the bumping is there more to the scam accusation at this point, or just highly expected?

So if nothing else they are wasting their money, while not disturbing others or gaining visibility.

I've reported the thread as well.
Unless you can provide proof that they are giving money/tokens/whatever in exchange for comments (and that means screenshots from their website  or maybe telegram group) thread will stay there. So far all my similar reports for threads that hired bumping service stayed unhandled, but who knows, maybe you'll have more luck with this.

What you can do is to report individual posts written there and hope that they will stop once they see posts are disappearing.

So if nothing else they are wasting their money, while not disturbing others or gaining visibility.
Trackers like that scammy ICObench are taking into consideration bitcointalk activity when rating projects so that may be one of the  reasons why thread bumping is still alive and kicking, despite being completely ineffective in terms of increasing visibility on bitcointalk.

Thanks. I'll see if I can report every posts one by one. which requires little bit more time. I'll try to do that. and  I reported it for being in wrong section. hopefully it'll at least move in Token's board if it is not removed.

I don't think ICObench care much about bitcointalk threads anymore. those golden times are gone when icobench and coinmarketcap listed new coins bases of their Bitcointalk threads. and Poloniex too.

Np. I just reported all those shill posts so no need for you to report as well.

ICObench doesn't list projects based on bitcointalk, but they do give score based on bitcointalk ANN thread activity, among other social media channels. Rating there is  completely misleading and fake, but newbies still believe those, and projects are still boasting with rating on their websites, albeit not as much as year or two ago. Here is how it looks (I took some random project screenshot).
