First, we are already in the bull run, from $3000-$19,000, that a huge spike in the price.

Second, yes, I'm a firm believer that every industry that adopts bitcoin will bring it closer to adoption. But porn industry is a niche, so I doubt that it will bring the market to the bull run. However, this is positive news, so why not? Maybe it will set a precedence to the adult industry to accept bitcoin, but as far as I know many have started this years ago, specially in the bull run of 2017, but I'm not sure if those companies are successful.

Porn companies might be a niche but it is one damn big niche, the porn in the Internet is the biggest industry existing by far, I agree that it will not bring a bull run but it will be a big adoption because there are a lot of users whether those users want to admit it or not that they are surfing the Internet for porn.

That is pretty disgusting to be honest, if this accusation is true though, I do not think that it will be a problem for Pornhub because they seem to be unfazed by this and they just deal with the issue without fuzz. Hopefully, no videos of this nature resurface because this only perpetuates the acceptance of rape in society. Also, who in their right mind watches this kind of video?

Right, it is good news for bitcoin here, I'm not sure which is either of the two Visa or Mastercard that has suspending the use of their card pending investigation. But in any case, not only BTC is accepted, there are a lot of crypto as well, LTC, Verge even USDT.

So obviously, there is a mutual benefits and profitable in the end.

Bitcoin and crypto can be easily used on porn sites as compare to the credit cards and i think every adult should allow payment through bitcoins.
The bitcoin will be more stable when more people will adopt it and use it in their businesses.

One or two isolated incidents used to target an online video streaming site, which has millions of videos. The video mentioned here was uploaded by one of the users and the allegation is that Pornhub didn't suspended the user and deleted the video soon enough. How can they do that without proper investigation? What going on now is just another witch hunt by radical Christian organizations, who want to ban porn.

What happens to cryptocurrency is people will see that the crypto can be used for subscribing to the services, including to subscribe to the porn industries. I think the gambling and porn industries will be the gate that will open the adoption process will be wide because people will be interested in hiding who they are who use those services.

It could give a chance to the bull run to comes in the next year, and if that happens, we will see the crypto market will get more supports from new people who use those services.

Its usually what would happen. Once the competitor knew others are considering btc snd other cryptocurrency,  others will also try to adopt to take a pie of that marketshare.

There are certainly number  of users from banned countries and are willing to pay using crypto. Its certainly a big chunk of profit there.

XVG became the first crypto adopted by PornHub since April 2018 and made the price of XVG soar beyond expectations. now Pornhub is adding LTC and BTC as payment for their premium content.

I'm also a fan of ETH like you, but it seems that pornhub is not happy with ETH and is missing it.

Pornhub's next plan will also add TRX and ZEN. Their models are also paid for using USDT stablecoins. The use of USDT as payment for their model is due to traditional funding issues in the past with paypal suddenly blocking payments to the pornhub site without any explanation.

The adult film industry has also been able to make room for cryptocurrency, providing better payment methods without having to use VISA and Paypal.

PornHub didn't necessarily "adopt" XVG by their own terms though. It's a "partnership" a.k.a. most likely a paid sponsorship to accept their coin. Because if PornHub would adopt a cryptocurrency in the first place, wouldn't it make sense to accept BTC? Or if they're taking the privacy side, probably XMR? But nope.

Would they have adopted Bitcoin as a payment option if it isn't worth it? I believe everyone knows the answer, hence what I see from this is value and acceptance, that is, Bitcoin is of huge value thereby it's trusted and this trust leads to it being accepted by this platform. Also, with this move by this adult platform Pornhub, shows they are freeing themselves from any form of payment restrictions thus setting the part for others to follow. What will happen to cryptocurrency is that, more audience or more people will now understand the potential it has and that is can be perfectly integrated into any business or platform thereby accommodating all users, thus a win-win for them.

If small percentage will use bitcoin for their transaction on adult sites then maybe this will not give a huge impact although its a great addition since it can make the bitcoin rotate due to its transaction. But maybe we can assume that there will be a bull run will came if many big companies come together with huge strong support of the whales then from this maybe we can trigger that to happen.

Actually, there are already adult companies that are accepting bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. They even make a public announcement to it. I guess it was redtube or pornhub. Anyway, I am not against with the adult companies using cryptocurrency for payment because it can guarantee a privacy among its user when using bitcoin as part or option of for payment when utilizing the adult company products.

Most of the bitcoin investors are millennials, so it doesn't matter to them as it really help the bitcoin's adoption around the world. But the thing is that there are people against it because it shows very mature content and some stories there are really not a good thing to exploit and show that this platforms are good to access.

But relating it in a bull run is really not that practical or irrelevant.

This is only proove that we are now in Mass adoption ,stopping their contract to pornhub means they don't want to earn money from a porn website and they don't want to tolerate such activity . Not only Bitcoin there are also other crypto currency is added in their platfrom and the latest update is they add monero just this day .
